On Monday my wife, Christie, and I went to Concordville Nissan with the intention of purchasing a Pathfinder. We I got to the dealership close to 6pm while my wife showed up around 7pm. We found a 2010 P Nissan with the intention of purchasing a Pathfinder. We I got to the dealership close to 6pm while my wife showed up around 7pm. We found a 2010 Pathfinder that Christie loved. Sadly we were not able to make a deal at that time. Ryan Eckberg told us that he will sumit the deal to the bank the next day and let us know what he found. At around 1pm on Tuesday Ryan called Christie with a new deal and she agreed to it. She offered to give him a Credit Card deposit over the phone since she was at work and couldn’t get there until 6pm. Ryan told her that there were 2 other people looking at the vehicle. She said she will get there at 6pm and Ryan said he will put her name on it and have the sales rep, Marq Taylor, to get it cleaned and ready for delivery. When Christie pulled into the dealership at 6:01pm she was told that the Pathfinder that she fell in love with was sold. Marq also said that he did not know she was coming in at that night. Ryan acted disappointed and concerned. She looked at other things for about an hour but did not find anything she liked. Ryan promised her that he will work on something and get in touch with her on Wednesday. He mentioned that he will give her the best deal that he could. While we were in the dealership on Monday we considered leasing a new Pathfinder and Christie found one that she was very interested in. Ryan called Christie today with “Great News”. He got her approved for a Pathfinder lease on the one she really liked. I reviewed the payments that she was quoted and called Ryan to get the final details since the lease deal was very similar to the one we did not like on Monday. Ryan told me the MSRP, selling price and invoice price. I was not happy with the selling price so I asked why he couldn’t give us the car for invoice. He told me that he could not do that. When I asked why he told me that he could sell that car for MSRP anytime. I asked “But, how many people did you piss off yesterday?” Ryan then in turn got very angry with me and told me that I can purchase a vehicle elsewhere and he didn’t want my business. He then proceeded to hang up on me. In my career I had sold cars before and I now work in customer service. That is no way to treat a customer. I know that selling a vehicle at invoice is not going to kill a dealership and according to their web page they have 40 new Pathfinders on the lot. I also know that with a huge inventory like Concordville has there is a huge overhead and it is beneficial to move vehicles. Also, I was always under the impression that a verbal agreement is good and even binding. We were asking them to hold the car for 5 hours. Not overnight or for a weekend, 5 hours. Ryan mentioned that he called Christie at work at 5:15pm to tell her that the car was sold but in reality Christie received his voice mail this morning at work which was time stamped 5:40pm. At that time she was already making her way to the dealership. I am very upset with the way we were treated and Christie is very disappointed because she fell in love with the Nissan Pathfinder. Luckily, there are other Nissan dealers in the area and other car manufacturers in the area. We will be doing our car shopping elsewhere, the only “great news” I really received from Ryan. Also, I suspect when another dealership hears about the way we were treated at Concordville they will probably bend over backwards to do right by us. More
I shopped for a new car online using the car buying service both AAA and USAA provide for their members. The lowest price available through this service was at Woodbury Nissan so I called Concordville service both AAA and USAA provide for their members. The lowest price available through this service was at Woodbury Nissan so I called Concordville Nissan, because it was closer to my home and I bought my last car there, to see if they'd match the price. The first time I called no one in the sales department answered and I left a voicemail, my call was not returned. I tried again, Farid answered this time and said he'd match the price I was given through the buying service. I went there and Farid quickly helped me find the car I wanted to buy and let me test drive it. When I said I'd purchase the car Farid suggested that I let the dealer try to find me financing at a lower rate than USAA, which they did. I appreciate that Farid quickly recognized I was a decided customer and didn't apply any high-pressure sales tactics usually associated with car salespeople. Farid was courteous, friendly, and professional and did his best to help me drive away in my new car as quickly as possible. More
Danielle Mateu is a great salesperson. Her winning personality and willingness to help were a wonderful sales tool. Danielle went way beyond the call of duty in helping me find the right vehicle and personality and willingness to help were a wonderful sales tool. Danielle went way beyond the call of duty in helping me find the right vehicle and speeding along the whole buying process. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my friends or family who might be looking for a new car. Moe Laraki, the sales manager worked earnestly to help me get the car I wanted at a price needed to meet my budget. Chuck Esbensen was instrumental in keeping the financing and paperwork at a minimum so that all went very smoothly. My family has done business with Concordville Subaru/Nissan for more than 20 years and I commend the whole staff for their cooperation in helping us meet our needs then and now. The service department has no equal in the general geographical area as well. Good job Concordville!!!! More
Updated 6/6/2013 The service manager Gene Broomall Updated 6/6/2013 The service manager Gene Broomall personally handled my situation along with Chris and Joyce Ogden and corrected all of the proble Updated 6/6/2013 The service manager Gene Broomall personally handled my situation along with Chris and Joyce Ogden and corrected all of the problems I complained about in my original report here. They replaced my windshield, inspected the vehicle for further damage and reapplied my interior and exterior Xzilon Protection. They gave me a loaner car while the work was being performed and Gene personally delivered the vehicle to me at my home when it was completed. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was done, and the car looks like it is new again. While I regret the experience and trouble I went through in my original purchase, the dealer has gone above and beyond to correct the situation and make it right, and they have communicated and been very professional and courteous throughout the process. I consider the situation resolved, barring any further incident related to the repairs performed. Updated 5/30/2013: Chris from Internet Sales contacted me and made an appointment next Wednesday on 6/5/2013 to replace my windshield, inspect the car for further damage, and re apply the Xzilon treatment. He has been very polite, and handled the situation like a true professional to this point and restored some trust. Provided they do a good job with the repairs and Xzlon application, I will be satisfied that they have done everything they can to make the situation right. Original Report: Concordville Subaru is disgraceful car dealer who damaged my brand new vehicle beyond repair installing a factory accessory. I bought my 2013 WRX off of the showroom floor in January 2013. I first looked at the car on a Tuesday night on 1/26/2013 but I explained to the dealer that I would not buy a vehicle without test driving it first. So we agreed to meet again on Saturday morning. I made an appointment and a handshake deal on price and options for a test drive and final sale on Saturday morning with Pat. The deal included a dealer installed SPT boost gauge as an included accessory in the sale, which was recorded in writing. From the time I first called the dealer before visiting Tuesday night through the sale date on Saturday I was passed among 4 different sales people getting the run around to the point I didn’t know who I was dealing with. Pat was supposed to follow up with me on Thursday night and never called. I got a call from Frank the dealer Saturday at 10am assuring me that the car was waiting and ready for me. I was told that Frank Taliaferro would be handling my sale now because Pat, who I had worked with on Tuesday was in a terrible car accident and broke both ankles, which turned out to be another lie in a long string of them. At the dealer on Saturday when I arrived, the car was in show room, not ready to test drive. It took Frank two hours to even get the paper work started, and then I was kept sitting around waiting for over 3 hours to close the sale, which was about an hour before the dealer closed so they rushed me and needlessly created pressure for me. At this point they claimed it was too late to have the car ready to test drive after I was at the dealer for 4 hours, so I decided since it was the only WRX within 100 to purchase it anyway. They insisted that they were backed up because of Pat’s car accident. So after sitting for several hours, when I finally made met the final sales account manager to close the deal they also talked me into purchasing Xzilon paint and interior protection which I agreed to because they assured me it could be used with any car wash and wax. I found out afterward was a scam. I researched it when I left the dealer and found out it was very controversial project and common money maker for the dealer. Right on the Xzilon products website, they specifically state that only brushless car washes could be used without voiding the warranty. When I called the dealer and expressed my concerns and asked to back out of the contract and cancel the installation, the financial accountant that closed the deal disputed my findings and said it does allow brushed car washes and that they would not allow me to back out and cancel the treatment appointment. This was the first in a long line of problems and lies that I was about to experience. First off the first time it rained after they applied the Xzilon treatment, I could see that it was not properly applied as I could see half of my car was beading water and the other half was totally flat with no run off indicating a poor installation. When they finally installed my SPT boost gauge 6 weeks after purchase, they used a metal screwdriver and scratched my entire console and the inside of my windshield glass. I was kept waiting all day for a job they said would take 2 hours and told I could finally pick it up right before they closed and it was dark outside, most likely deliberately so I did not see the damage until the following morning in day light. When I did finally see it in the morning I was beyond disbelief at the state of the vehicle. We have grease smeared all over the hood and windshield, my console was still half apart and not snapped all the way together. I filed a complaint with Subaru of America and they made the dealer in complaint SR# 1-3416067566 and they agreed to fix any problems and replace the damaged interior pieces and to Gene Broomall’s credit he was very accommodating about the repairs. However the windshield scratch can't be fixed without replacing the windshield so I didn’t ask them to fix it because I don’t want the seal broken on my brand new car's windshield and risk water and wind leaks. So to add injury to insult, while I was in getting the work done I saw the original sales rep that had supposedly broken both ankles walking around the show room floor. To add further injury to insult, after they did all of the work replacing the parts as explained above in March of 2013, I was driving my car on May 16th 2013 and suddenly lost a lot of power and the car started making a terrible loud whining sound like a deflating balloon when the turbo engaged. Sure enough when I checked under the hood I could see where the technician had taken my manifold apart because the color marks on the screws were not aligned indicating that they were loose. The noise was caused because they never screwed on the clamp connecting the hose from the inter cooler to the intake manifold, so it had popped loose creating a major vacuum leak which was also causing the power loss under boost. I'm so beyond trusting this dealer to fix any work on my car that I repaired it myself by tightening the clamp and screws. Thank god I have full power back and a normal sounding engine in my $35000 sports car with 2600 miles on it after fixing it myself. I'll have to think of them and their terrible deeds every time I drive my car now in the bright sun when I see the remaining scratch in front of me on my window always concerned of what is going to break next. Is that the treatment and quality you get when you purchase a Subaru? I’d never buy a car there again or take one in for service to that dealer, or recommend anybody else to. Thanks a lot for the most stressful shopping experience of my life when I handed the dealer a 35000$ sale on a silver platter. I will never trust Subaru again and I am not satisfied with the resolution provided by your Customer Service or the dealership. I wanted to make sure that you know how your customers are being treated. If there were any justice in the world to make things right that dealer should be stripped of it’s license to sell Subaru vehicles and I should get a new car to replace it. More
Avoid this dealership at all cost. My wife and I had purchaced a vehicle in 2010. The vehicle no longer suited our needs due to fuel economy and functionality. The sales department offered us $5, 000 le purchaced a vehicle in 2010. The vehicle no longer suited our needs due to fuel economy and functionality. The sales department offered us $5, 000 less than a dealership down the road. When confronted with this fact they promptly offered us what the other dealership had. I found this offensive. This is how they treat return business. If you do not mind being swindled out of your money this may be the dealership for you. More

From the receptionist to my salesperson, the sales manager and finance manager all were respectful of my time and seemed to really value my business. No one wants to hang out in a car dealership for hours. Their 19 minute or less guarantee was true. Thank you! When my car was delivered, my sales person showed me every feature of my new car. I highly recommend this dealership and the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder! More

I spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Amit on the phone this evening about a truck on the lot. Unfortunately, it appears we couldn't come to an agreement on price. I also need to say it appears, that Con this evening about a truck on the lot. Unfortunately, it appears we couldn't come to an agreement on price. I also need to say it appears, that Concordville either paid too much for the vehicle from auction or gave up to much on trade, either way the truck is not worth the price asked. Second and most important. Someone of importance in Concordville management needs to address the concerns/negativity on this website. It also, had a part in driving my business away. More
