Our sales person was great up to the point of the presentation of the written sales confirmation sheet. I was shocked at all of the extra charges listed. When I asked if my partner was aware of all o presentation of the written sales confirmation sheet. I was shocked at all of the extra charges listed. When I asked if my partner was aware of all of the additional charges (extended warranty, additional alarm, etc) and did he AGREE to them, there was silence. I asked twice. There was no answer to my questions. Then the hard sell started. I was unable to reach my partner by phone to get clarification and approval of all the additional expenses, and that is when the sales manager was asked to talk to me. There was a lot of pressure to sign that sales agreement right away and move the closing process along. He was obviously annoyed when I asked for clarification and details on each of the additional items, and that I wanted to READ what I was agreeing to. The manager (closer) was fidgety and looked nervous as the pressure was increasing. I was very uncomfortable, so I just said no to all of the add-ons. We love the car, but the purchasing experience was not pleasant. More

Had I had the option, I would have chosen another dealership to work with, but we were purchasing a used vehicle. Make sure all your paperwork is signed before you leave, because they will make their mistake your problem. Our purchased vehicle was also 10 miles to empty after I was assured it would be gassed up and ready to go. After following an employee to the gas station, they put 10 gallons in the car that has a 34-gallon tank and explained that was all they were authorized to give me. What a nice way to round out the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. If you're purchasing a new Honda, there are plenty others to choose from in the Bay Area. More
