It wasn't like the normal New Car Buying Experience It started when we first walked in the door and the manager greeted us, asked what we are interested in and said he would have a "Product Specialist" It started when we first walked in the door and the manager greeted us, asked what we are interested in and said he would have a "Product Specialist" assist us. Tim McCrum came over and helped us while we were looking at the red Impreza that was on the floor the my wife and I feel in love with. It was a base model which is what we were interested in. We didn't need a "flashy" car with a lot of bells and whistles. Tim showed us the features that the car had and didn't try to "up-sell" us on a more expensive car. We went over to Tim's desk and he said, "Wait a minute, you haven't even driven the car yet, you need to do a test drive!" So we did. Tim pulled out a similar model and we were off. Tim sat in the back, so my wife and I could sit up front. Not a lot of sales people do that. They want to be upfront selling as you drive. We decided to go with the Red Impreza that was on the floor. Tim brought over coffee and cookies while we worked out the details. No pressure, just a nice guy trying to help us find the best version of the car we wanted/needed. We have a lot of options on Long Island, this was by far the best experience we've had buying a car. I would tell anyone looking for a car to stop in and check out Competition. More

We wanted a specific model with certain additional features and he was able to find just the car we were looking for (Forester Limited with RAB) that was in transit from Japan. When we came in to pick up the car we could not believe the amount of time he spent in going over all of the cars features, and helping us set our phone connection and other custom adjustments.
