Outstanding service I would just like to start with this may be the best dealership on long island! I was recently in the market for a new vehicle i had my day planned ou I would just like to start with this may be the best dealership on long island! I was recently in the market for a new vehicle i had my day planned out to purchase from a different dealer earlier in the day, but after having had a very horrible experience I left that dealership having purchased a vehicle from competition subaru before and had a recent EXCEPTIONAL experience with the competition subaru service department i knew in my heart this is where my busibess would go. I stopped at the dealership was met with a friendly smile with the receptionist , she asked how she could help us and said it may be a little wait as we didnt have an appointment and apologized (was maybe about 10 minutes) we then met with our salesman Norris he walked us around to multiple cars of interest eventually finding THE ONE! We sat down talked numbers it was getting late in the day on a sunday so we would have to return in the morning to complete the process. Dan archer the business manager calls early in the morning (we were already on our way into the dealership) he said great we will see you soon ! Our salesman Norris wasnt scheduled to work as early as we arrived but was informed that we were coming and said he would try and make it in earlier . During the night i had been thinking about two cars "the one" and another slightly less expensive option i wanted to see the other option again, we medt another FANTASTIC salesman named Rodney who sits across from Norris. He took time out of his day to show us the car, he even got the keys and took us for a test drive and that was it, change had been made in my mind this was the new and only option i wanted. THANK YOU Rodney i appreciate your time and conversation! Norris came in early to help us seal the deal. I have to say this was THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!!Having bought from multiple dealers and having had absolutely terrible experiences before from other dealers this was an absolute breeze! I just would really love to thank Rodney,Norris, and Dan from the bottom of my heart!! You 3 gentleman represent your company,brand, and dealership to what the epitome of what a car buying experience SHOULD be! I love this dealership! I recently visited the new building to have routine service performed. From the moment I drove up, I was totally impressed with the drive up service. I recently visited the new building to have routine service performed. From the moment I drove up, I was totally impressed with the drive up service..great during all types of inclement weather. The staff was courteous and friendly. My service advisor, Chris Barcelo, came out to greet me. He took me inside and we reviewed my file. Chris took the time to explain every service that was available for me and kept me informed every step of the way. Chris took a few moments to show me around the new building and offered me complimentary beverages. He quickly addressed some concerns that came up and went out of his way to make my experience a pleasant one. I have always had a positive experience with Competition Subaru and definitely recommend this dealership. More

Finance manager quoted a value on our trade with the old “I’ll try to get you a little more” good feel gimmick. At delivery we were given even less than originally quoted on the trade! What started off as a great experience ended on a sour note over a few bucks. I don’t see the long term upside of nickel and diming new customers at delivery. More
