I had Jeff Balkan for my sales consultant, he was wonderful to deal with. He explained everything about the features and how to use them. Would give 0 STARS if I could. My 2020 Ascent is covered under warranty and I was having an issue using the radio. The dealer told me I needed a new auxiliary panel and they replac My 2020 Ascent is covered under warranty and I was having an issue using the radio. The dealer told me I needed a new auxiliary panel and they replaced it and said the issue was solved. Also, the car had 15K miles on it and the front tires had severe outside wear on them. It took only a few days to replace the dashboard panel but over a month to tell me they won't cover the tires and alignment, but got me a $400 credit if I was to repaid it at the dealer ($750 after the $400 credit). Since I bought the car in Maine I figured I'd give them a call and lo and behold it cost the same $750, but without the credit. It gets better, I turned down the tire/alignment offer and went to pick up my car. I noticed my charging cable wasn't charging my phone when I picked it up, but figured the cable was my issue. As soon as I got home I tried two OTHER cables that work in my house and both don't work in the car. So this dealer had my car for a over a month and not only did they not fix the initial issue, but now I can't charge my phone or access navigation. I am supposed to leave for vacation in 5 days. Now I am considering driving up to Maine from Long Island without use of a charging cable and navigation in the hopes that their dealer is better than the local dealer. AVOID this place at all costs - their service department is not competent at all and they overcharge. Don't say you weren't warned. Oh, almost forgot, when I went to pick up my car they gave me a packet of papers that needed to be signed. Luckily I skimmed through the packet and realized it was not for my car. Not sure anyone knows what they are doing here. More
On Friday, July 1st I left a $1,000 deposit over the phone with Jeff around 7pm. By 11am on the 2nd the deal had fallen through and Jeff was initiating a refund on the deposit. I reached out multiple times last week starting on July 6th because the charge cleared from the 1st but was then showing again as of the 6th. Jeff took my card # again over the phone so he could walk over to billing and see what the deal was and would call me right back. Someone from billing calls me and tells me the dealership policy is to only refund up to $500, this wasn't discussed as Jeff was actually prepared to accept $2,000 (per my offer) but no refund policy was discussed nor was anything signed. Jeff was too busy on the 7th and 8th until around 3pm to take my call. Also, there we no available managers and even Diana (answered my call) replied with "Jeff hasn't called you back?" Jeff called me at 3pm on the 8th, I answer: Jeff: "Vito, you'll have the refund by Monday (today). Take care." Here we are, no refund on July 11. I even told Diana over the phone prior to this how happy I was with Jeff and the Finance Manager I had dealt with but this is insane at this point and I am beyond upset with such poor attention to this matter. More

Good honest work, considerate about my needs, Joyce Calderone did exactly what I needed done. I had recently upgraded to the newest iPhone in September and now I had trouble getting my car’s audio sy Calderone did exactly what I needed done. I live in the city. iPhone salesman had no idea how to pair my new phone to my car. Not many people own cars in the city so he was of no help. In October I was visiting friends in my old neighborhood, The Three Villages. I was driving by the Subaru dealership of Smithtown and decided to drive into the service area where I met Joyce. I didn’t have to wait or fill out any forms. Joyce got into the drivers seat and got the hands free phone and radio working in no time. I was very happy. If I ever decide to trade in my outback for a newer model, I’m going to Competition Subaru of Smithtown because of the great customer service. Joyce Calderone was very polite, gave quick and excellent service; I’m very satisfied on the work done in my car, I highly recommend this place to anybody. Thank you Joyce. More
This place is great. Very clean and new. The service dept. and waiting room are top notch and cutting edge. I got a fantastic Lease deal. I went to 3 other dealers who wouldn't budge on price. And they upgraded the rearview mirror and added all weather mats (all 4 + back of the seat and trunk liner) as part of the prep.
