Buyer beware 69 days after purchasing a 2012 x3 with 43k miles oil light came on. Visit to local dealer and a 2.5k repair estimate for a leaking rear seal. Competitikn BMW says sorry too bad you are out of warranty. The day i picked up car they replaced valve cover. I think they misdiagnosed. The light may have come on 9 days after lemon law, but leak didnt atart then! First online purchase i have had an issue with. Didnt expect this from a BMW dealership. Maybe they don't care since I am not local. More

Long Distance Purchase My experience with Competition BMW was a little different than what you normally read about. I was looking for a specific Certified Pre-Owned BMW mod My experience with Competition BMW was a little different than what you normally read about. I was looking for a specific Certified Pre-Owned BMW model that is hard to find in my area (I live in NE Ohio). So, I searched the inventory of all the BMW dealerships east of the Mississippi. Competition had a nice selection of that were CPO and competitively priced. I contacted them via email and heard back from Jason Phelps almost immediately. Buying a car without ever seeing it in-person is somewhat nerve wracking, but Jason was just as attentive as if I had been sitting across the desk from him. He handled every detail, with the exception of the shipment of the car to Ohio (they are unable to do this). But even then, he was there to make sure the carrier did things properly. The car arrived in great condition and I love it! Now, after the sale has been completed and I have my car, Jason is still being just as responsive and great to work with as he has been through the entire process. Great job, Jason, and everyone at Competition BMW. I will definitely be back! If you're contemplating a remote purchase (or in-person), you can feel very comfortable working with them. More
