Avoid This Dealership — Misleading and Dishonest I flew in from out of state to buy a used Cadillac Escalade from Community Cadillac, trusting their inspection and the salesperson’s claim that it was flew in from out of state to buy a used Cadillac Escalade from Community Cadillac, trusting their inspection and the salesperson’s claim that it was serviced, clean, and in good condition. This purchase has been a nightmare ever since. Once home, I discovered serious issues: • Leaking shocks and failing air suspension • Engine knocking and oil leaks • Cruise control, parking sensors, and HVAC/rear A/C failed within days • Transmission started stalling • Vehicle was filthy inside, with food crumbs, stains, and even animal feces • Cracked infotainment screen and all fluids low, despite claims it was “serviced” they lied. Repairs estimated at $3,500. I understand used cars are sold as-is, and this Escalade had higher mileage, but this goes far beyond normal wear — it was clearly misrepresented. They brush it off because it’s “high mileage”, even though their profit margin is the same. I got a quick 5 minute inspection from midas, just to look at the basics, but the Cadillac inspection is the one that went into everything. I expected professionalism from a Cadillac dealer. They were unable to fine my new warranty contract for services. Felt as if my integrity was being questioned when continually saying they didn't have it. Very disappointed with this dealership community motors. I have bought 2 vehicles from them in the last few years. I did all my service with them. Requested an oil chance with them for full synthetic oil I have bought 2 vehicles from them in the last few years. I did all my service with them. Requested an oil chance with them for full synthetic oil, which is what we always did with our truck. Our last oil change they took it upon themselves to put blended oil in it. Since we were leaving town we were told by the service department to have it changed when we got to where we were going & they would pay the difference when we got back. We’ll we didn’t make it back because the truck threw a rod because of the wrong oil. You can not run pure synthetic from day one then run the regular oil they put in. Come to find out today they had never put in the pure synthetic oil we had been requesting or paying for. They had been put blended oil in all along. We ended up having to buy another truck in Florida to bring our 5th wheel home. The general manager & the service manager both basically said sorry about your bad luck. I’ve tried numerous times to contact Jim the owner & he has not bothered to return my calls/messages. Obviously he doesn’t give a xxxx about the “little” people. I’m not asking for them to fix or replace the truck but I feel the least that could have been done is sort of reimbursement for all the trouble. Also for Jim to have the respect for his customers to return a phone call. This is one person who will no longer be a customer or recommend the community motors dealership again. More
