I just purchased my second new vehicle from Community Honda. From start to finish this was a flawless experience. My trade in price was amazing, which was why I decided to buy. I spent days searching for a vehicle with all of my desired features within my price range-not an easy task during these times. I found a vehicle at this dealership. I communicated with the salesman, sales manager and finance manager prior to deciding to make a 6hr round trip to purchase a vehicle. I was attempting to address all areas prior to my arrival to have everything in order. When I arrived he took me right to the vehicle for a test drive and I could not have been more flabbergasted at the interior appearance of the vehicle. It looked like a car currently in use. A vehicle that is truly used on a regular basis and has not been vacuumed in months. If I had not traveled so far, I would have left. The dealership has a responsibility to present vehicles for sale and they failed. They particularly failed because they were completely aware I was coming on that day at that time. The salesman stated he wanted me to test drive it first and make sure I was going to make the purchase and THEN he would have it cleaned. VERY confusing. I straight out told him, you should have had it cleaned prior to my arrival, even if I didn't purchase it, then it would be clean for the next customer. He couldn't disagree but there were no apologies. I had to pretend to be really anal and OCD about cleaning to make the point that the vehicle better come out from the detail department VERY clean to make up for the fact that it clearly had quite a bit of dog hair from the first owner in the cracks of the seats and there was garbage in the backseat pockets. I was so appalled and disappointed for my first used vehicle purchase. I am glad I do not reside near this dealership and have no reason to return again. Then the sales and finance manager played the classic game of "he's on the phone working his magic getting you a better financing package". Did they offer a lower price on the vehicle I purchased? NO Did they take the vehicle in the back and put in a new fuse when I tried to drive away and use the power plug and it did not work? YES Did they hold the door open for me? YES Did either of two staff go in the female restroom and replace the soap when I reported THREE times that it was empty? NO More
