Great Service on a Saturday When Traveling Across Illinois We were making a drive my 2010 Honda Odyssey from Indiana back to western Illinois on I-80 on a Saturday when the "Check Engine" light came. We got o We were making a drive my 2010 Honda Odyssey from Indiana back to western Illinois on I-80 on a Saturday when the "Check Engine" light came. We got off I-80 at the next exit and determined it was something that needed immediate attention. We called Community Honda of Orland Park because they were close by. We were delighted to hear that the Service department was open all day and could make an appointment for us within an hour. Robert Moran, the Service Manager, explained the steps to me and arranged for the shuttle to take us to a restaurant for lunch while the car was serviced. He phoned me with the diagnosis and cost and asked for my OK to proceed. The car was ready shortly after we returned from lunch. We were VERY pleased with how well we were treated and the speedy fix. Arrived 5 minutes early, no one was ahead of me checking in still I waited 15 to be acknowledged that I was e I made an appointment for an oil change. After being checked in I said about 30 minutes and the service rep said at least an hour?? I asked him what the purpose of appointments were. He stated we doubled booked and there have been a lot of walk ins??? After complaining he did move me up above the walk ins but really double booking. With today computers I doubt that can happen. I bet the appointment are booked every 15 minutes which is not enough time. By the way my appointment was early 9:00am pretty early in the day to be backed up. The reason I came to the dealership was because Community sent me a coupon book for service so I thought I would give it a try. More
Tire pressure low. They did a hard reset which took about two hours. They told me they had to drive at 55 miles per hour When I came in my gas tank was almost full.
