I'd like to thank Jennifer in service for her incredible service. Our family was victim of fire damage due to the home next door burning to the ground. Our Odyssey needed an oil change before we left for a service. Our family was victim of fire damage due to the home next door burning to the ground. Our Odyssey needed an oil change before we left for a family members 90th b-day party in the Detroit area planned before the fire.As we don't know how many more birthday's our Uncle will be able to celebrate we felt the need to still travel. My husband needed to meet with contractors and county surveyors the day of departure. Our van needed an oil change for a safe trip to Detroit with our three young children. She listened to my story and proceeded to put us at the top of the list. My husband was able to get our service done quickly and still meet with the people in charge of getting our house back in livable condition so that we could meet with our extended family to celebrate such an amazing milestone. Thank you Jennifer and Community Honda for employing such a caring and hard working individual. We will recommend this dealership over and over due to not only their fine service but their personal care for their clients. More
We had some issues with a car we used on Memorial Day weekend, I called the day I bought the car and they were quick to say to bring it in and they scheduled me for an appointment. My appointment was May 31, 2012 came I get there and Randy tells me there is no appointment in the system. I explained to him that I have called the service department 3 different times and they assured me I had an appointment and that I just drove an hour to get there. He says they can still see my car, after an hour of waiting ( I checked in around 4:20p) I ask Randy if he has an update on my car he says that a certified mechanic has to look if there is one available, I then asked for a drive to Culvers since I was still waiting with my son, I think the porters name was Doug he was very nice and friendly, took us. We came back to the service Department at 7:30pm and at this time no had seen my car (no one had called me to tell me this, I could have been sitting in the waiting area til they closed and would not have known what was going on if I didn't ask). Then a Steve( I believe that's his name) he was very apologetic yet annoyed gave me a loaner car and said he would make sure the car was done by Friday and it was. If it wasn't for the porter Doug I would have given them a 2 on friendlyness because it seem that I was more of a bother than anything else that day. I know people have bad days but when you are in the customer service industry you can't be that way. If I lived close I would have my car serviced there because once they do the work they were very good, but the customer service can use some work. Geana More
I took my Honda to this dealership because of a Honda recall. When I got in my car and drove away a rattling noise started in the steering wheel column and it was non-stop. I took the car back and expla recall. When I got in my car and drove away a rattling noise started in the steering wheel column and it was non-stop. I took the car back and explained the problem. Two hours later I was told the mechanic did not hear the rattling on the test run but did find a loose screw and tightened it. Tightening the screw fixed the rattling noise. The service department did not take ownership of this mistake nor did they apology for having me return for more service and wait another two hours for my Honda be fixed. BTW the reason the mechanic didn't hear the rattling noise was because he had the air conditioning blasting on the test run. More
