Community Honda of Orland Park responded

In a previous post, a customer stated that Gerry Carducci, gave him incorrect information regarding the Honda Dealer Cash on a 2012 Honda Accord. Gerry indeed did give the customer the correct information that the current dealer cash on a 2012 Honda Accord EXL is $1250 plus an additional $250 of finance cash available to customers who finance through Honda Financial Services. This information is readily verifiable as it is posted on the Honda website and various third party websites such as Edmunds.com. The customer said another dealer quoted him $4000 as the rebate which in fact is incorrect as it not only represents the $1250 dealer cash, and $250 finance cash along with the dealer's own discount on the vehicle. It is considered unethical to combine dealer cash, finance cash, along with a dealer discount to represent it as a Honda discount. Unfortunately, this customer was not given accurate information by another dealership and used this inaccurate information as the basis of his post. Community Honda is a full disclosure dealership; as such we fully explain where each discount is coming from whether it is dealer cash, finance cash or dealer generated discount as compared to lumping them into one sum. Especially in the case of the Accord to do so would be misleading as the $250 finance rebate requires a customer to finance through Honda Financial Services and would not be extended to a customer paying cash. Community Honda is a family owned dealership with roots back to 1918 as a dealership group. We pride ourselves on ethical full disclosure.
