I browsed online at several dealerships for quite a while before I decided to purchase anything. When I found a car I wanted to look at, I made my appointment, test drove, had my trade in appraised, and wen before I decided to purchase anything. I already secured financing, so when I purchased it the finance department worked with my credit union and had everything ready to go. The entire signing process only took 10 minutes or so- and that is how it should be.
