We were treated fantastic by everybody at Columbine. We were greeted like we were family. They treated us like we were the most important person in the entire world that day. Yesterday I wrote a pretty harsh review, and, with more time to reflect, I was too harsh. Brad Wilkins was friendly, professional, and very helpful. He spent time after our sale walking me through all of the My Ford Touch features, and I truly appreciate his time. Curtis Smith was also helpful and friendly when it came time to talk about the financing of our new vehicle. Both of these men were pleasant and easy to work with, and I would like to apologize for my previous review. I let one negative piece of this experience override all of the positive aspects, and that is not okay. So, I'm sorry. My frustration is that after we drove off, we removed the paper on the floor that we assumed was there to keep the floor mats clean. We then found a large hole in the center of the driver's side mat. This would not have been a deal-breaker for us by any stretch, but it feels so dishonest that it has left me with a negative impression. A floor mat is no big deal. It's the fact that they hid it from us that bothers me. I worry that if they would be deceptive about something as inconsequential as a floor mat that they would also hide safety issues that people need to know about the vehicles they intend to purchase. Anyway, the dishonesty was disappointing, but, to his credit, Brad Wilkins quickly replaced our floor mat, and all is well. We love our new vehicle. Perhaps Brad Wilkins knew nothing of the hole in this floor mat. I don't know. What I do know is that at least one person at Columbine Ford knew about it because they cleaned the vehicle before we took it. They left the floor paper only on the driver's side. It was stupid of me not to look underneath it, but I've learned not to be so trusting. Good customer service dictates that the price of a floor mat is cheap compared to the bad publicity they risk by trying to hide it. While I am frustrated by this lack of honesty, I did not intend for my previous review to hurt feelings or to harm anyone's career. I sincerely hope that Brad Wilkins did not know about the hole in the floor mat, and I appreciate him for replacing it. I hope Columbine Ford, as a dealership, will work to uphold personal integrity. It does not feel good to be fooled, but it is also not fair for me to blame the wrong person. I don't know who is at fault, nor do I need to. I just hope this won't happen to other customers. More
My overall experience was wonderful. Blaine was attentive listen to what I wanted and did not push me towards any one vehicle. I spoke with several weeks before I came in. Dustin is a very patient salesman. He understands the needs of the customer. He doesn't try to put people in a vehicle they wont like or cant afford just to get a sale.
