First, if you are browsing for a new car and are on the website (Like Columbia Hyundai), DO NOT fall for the 'free' $25 gift card 'just for stopping b First, if you are browsing for a new car and are on the website (Like Columbia Hyundai), DO NOT fall for the 'free' $25 gift card 'just for stopping by'. #1 you'll never receive it because "the guy who does this promo is off today" and #2, once you give them your email address you will be swamped with spam and your info sold/shared with other entities. up until recently, car sales have been very good with lotsa money to be made. This allowed the dealers/salespeople to cherry-pick the 'easy close' customers. An easy close is any person looking to purchase who goes into a dealership uninformed and unprepared. I had been into this dealership once or twice before over the years and had the same experience each time. Too many easy sales for them to want to really have to "work" on a deal. That's why I discourage potential buyers from choosing this dealership (and I talk to ALOT of people!). You also managed to save me from purchasing a less superior vehicle, so, for that at least, thank you. More
