We purchased a 2020 Palisade from Columbia new and were satisfied with the experience. Told them they had a customer for life with the way we were initially treated. Ordered a another Palisade last October satisfied with the experience. Told them they had a customer for life with the way we were initially treated. Ordered a another Palisade last October 2022 with the understanding it would take several months to be built. Found out in early July 2023 the car has not even been started being built. We purchased the extended warranty on the 2020 Palisade and took it in for a service check. They found a front end issue and ordered the parts to fix it. When we went to pickup the car we were told they initially ordered the wrong parts and installed them. They said because of that we would be required to pay for the repair. At that point we made it clear that Columbia has lost a customer for life! Buyer beware!!! More
The 'Check Engine" light on my '22 Tuscon continually came on in spite of previous sensor replacements. The service manager took the car in for what was likely going to be a timing belt replacement. Th came on in spite of previous sensor replacements. The service manager took the car in for what was likely going to be a timing belt replacement. The mechanic found a chewed wire, replaced it, and the car is now fine. The service I received was responsive & courteous, but I am concerned that the Hyundai Motors Corp. does not allow its service departments to completely diagnose and fix the source of the trouble the first time. This limits all mechanics to fixing the symptom, not the cause and results in repeated service visits, loaner cars and frustrated owners. BOTTOM LINE: Great tech service (each visit) from Austin and his team. Poor philosophy on the part of corporate Hyundai. More
No matter what I have done at this dealership, it always ends in an unsatisfactory fashion! The last even was when I returned car to service due to recall by company. First they were suppose to call me WH ends in an unsatisfactory fashion! The last even was when I returned car to service due to recall by company. First they were suppose to call me WHEN the item needed was received so that the recall could be addressed. After over 2 months I finally called them and they said indeed the part had been in for some time, but the dealership had AGAIN failed to call me. So I set up to have my car there for first thing in the AM(left overight at garage door). I told them that I definitely needed the car by 2 PM, they said no problem! I called once in the AM to check and they said it was in process. I called back at 1:30 PM and learned that car had not even begun the repair. I was furious, but as always it makes no difference!! I would recommend NOT buying a car here just because the service sucks! More

Service dept refused to check it for him without a specific appointment for that problem. Sent him away. he is planning to drive the car to Idaho next week. translation - if we can't charge you a very high diagnostic fee for this work - we're not interested. I spoke with the service manager and he offered to check the code. When my son returned he was again told they would not help him and they sent him away again. We don't need "service" like this More

2014 WHITE HONDA PILOT, 114K MILES NEEDS SIGNIFICANT WORK - BUYER BEWARE I'm a disabled senior on a fixed income. I was pretty sure I couldn't be financed because my debt to income ratio would be too great. That's how low my income is. But I have my deceased mother's 2019 Honda CRV Touring model to trade in. It has 30k miles and needs a crunched front bumper fixed. Once that's done it's worth $30-32k in private sale, according to KBB. I'd already received an offer of $28k from another dealer who didn't ask that I have my insurance repair it but Columbia did and I was perfectly willing. Columbia offered me $27k and a rebate for my $500 deductible for getting it fixed through their bodyshop, in exchange for a 2014 Honda Pilot touring with 114k miles. There is $7780 still due on the CRV, which seemed to surprise the salesman. (Really?) After the trade and payoff, I would still have owed Columbia $3717. I also needed a warranty and they found me a really good one. It was only $2700, but that meant my out of pocket would be more than $6550. That's a big chunk of change for me and very close to the $7700 I owed on the CRV anyway. They allowed me to take it to a Honda mechanic who discovered that not only did it need the regularly scheduled maintenance items, including timing belt replacement, dirty and low fluids, that would have run nearly $2500, but the axle needed to be replaced at $4-600, as well. I asked them to NOT reimburse me for the $500 deductible for the repair of the CRV and to trade me straight across-the-board, allowing me to cover the repairs and maintenance instead of paying the cash for a vehicle that needed nearly $3100 of work. That's only $600 difference from the amount they wanted me to pay anyway. I also offered to buy the warranty. I was curtly told to return the Pilot and take my vehicle, and to do so before 5pm. They had nearly insisted I take the blamed thing home. So I, a senior disabled woman, spent most of the day on the road and at my Honda dealership, because I live almost an hour away, and spent $120 on an inspection that their mechanic could have done, and may well have but no repairs were made. Apparently the oil leaking from the boot was quite apparent. This dealer would have let me take this vehicle and get stuck with the repairs. I would like to compliment Tom, my salesman, who made a good effort to take care of me. Thank you. More

Sold me a car with bad transmission I bought from Hyundai of Columbia a used car. They told me it does not have any problem and they gave me a "fake" inspection report to state it does I bought from Hyundai of Columbia a used car. They told me it does not have any problem and they gave me a "fake" inspection report to state it does not have any problem. Upon driving the car and taking it to local dealer for inspection, I have got list of problems and the worst was transmission not shifting properly from 3rd to 4th gear. Hyundai Dealer denied this issue and claimed they insisted they didn't see any issues before purchase. They are not willing to help in fixing the problems. I would stay away from this dealer at all costs More
