BUYERS BEWARE! !!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the worst possible dealership you could ever choose to buy a car from !!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the worst possible dealership you could ever choose to buy a car from. Have a 2018 Genesis G80 and it has had an air-conditioning freeze up issue since the day I bought it in 2021. Quick google search and low and behold it is a widely known issue with this year and model. Take it in they could not get it to reproduce. Well, no crap I told them over and over as I am in traveling sales that it happens when you are driving on the highway for more than 2 hours it will freeze solid, and the blower motor will scream trickling hot air in the car. Only way to fix it is to pull over and stop driving for 20-30 min minimum with the engine off and it will then work again for less than 60 minutes. Then it is back to stop and wait for it to thaw again. You can imagine how great it is that the car turns a 7 hours' drive into a 10–11 -hour drive. This is just the start of the issues with this dealer. I was closing in on my 100,000-mile end of my warranty. It had a few minor things like a tiny bit of coolant on the front of the motor needed a water pump. The oil light kept coming on and off while driving oil pressure switch. I had 96,000 miles on the car and told them this will take me less than 4 weeks to get over 100,000. At 98,000 miles I contacted them again and let them know where the mileage was. No problem on their end no warning about the mileage. Then again at 99,000 miles not a worry from them. The appointment got pushed back and back and when they were finally able to get the car in it had 100,100 miles on it when I left my house. Drove it down there and when I dropped it off it had 100,147 miles on it. Two days later they call and say sorry you are over your warranty period we can get it done but the minimum $3-4,000 to get it fixed is on me. To put the icing on the cake I had it on the lot two days before my appointment. I talked to them about the mileage and what was going on. No one said a word about anything no one mentioned getting it wrote up while it was there. Then after I get told they are covering nothing and that they tried to reach out to Genesis for good will repair (that was denied) The sales manager says I don't see why they didn't just write it up before the miles ran out. I said that is an option, he says sure. I contact the service department again and they say well the car has to be here for us to write it up. THE CAR WAS ON THIER LOT TWO DAYS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT WITH WELL OVER 300 MILES UNTIL 100,000. All in all, I was going to trade it in when I got back and get the 2021 G70 they had on the lot for a good price but that will never happen. I will gladly drive two hours to the next Genesis dealer to buy anything ever again. That is if Genesis does the right thing and stand behind their product and gets my car fixed. As for this dealership buyers beware, they will unfortunately screw you in any way any chance they get. You are better off to drive clear to Columbus, Indianapolis or Cleveland. The car is great, but I don't ever deal with anyone this shady again. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! More
Took almost 2 and a half hours to just get an oil change. Asked from the beginning how long the wait would be. I was extremely unhappy! I made an appointment for my recall and when I got there they told me that they couldn't take me because they had to order the part. New arrival area and waiting room are a vast improvement from the area they had for the last 10 years. Moving to an online reservation system, especially for the free Hyundai service that comes with every n from the area they had for the last 10 years. Moving to an online reservation system, especially for the free Hyundai service that comes with every new Hyundai should be a great improvement as well. In the past one had to get there early and hope one was able to get a good place in line, which was a system only people without responsibilities or appointments for work or children could enjoy. The automated phone assistant is terrible and therefore the ability to receive an update on the status of your car is terrible. I am hopeful as they rearrange their process they will be able to improve that process, whether by improving how the automate phone assistant is used in the process. More
