Car had to be towed to the dealership twice within a two week span. The first time, I was told that it was a sensor that they would replace, the second time was the same issue, and the representative told m week span. The first time, I was told that it was a sensor that they would replace, the second time was the same issue, and the representative told me that there was a class action lawsuit and my car's symptoms perfectly fit those, so it would probably be covered (and that replacing the sensor was the correct 'first step' towards addressing the issue). However, they have now had my car for 8 weeks. Of those 8 weeks, they were EXTREMELY difficult to get a hold of for updates, lost my car (on their own lot) for four days (didn't even call me to let me know they found it -- I had to go to the dealership, find my own car, and let them know where it was), and then now at the end of the 8 weeks, have told me that "there is nothing wrong with your car, but as a *favor* we will only charge you $165" Service department is incredibly difficult to get a hold of, does not return phone calls, and offer no suggestions or alternatives for why my car has broken down repeatedly to the point of needing to be towed in. After this series of interactions, I would strongly recommend that you do not buy from Hyundai, and especially not from this dealership. More
Chuck was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very helpful and even corrected my mileage sticker because they hadn't extended it out enough. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very helpful and even corrected my mileage sticker because they hadn't extended it out enough. More
No one could have been more helpful than Chuck Elliott! But otherwise customer service is HORRIBLE! I have driven Hyundai forever but my next car will not be a Hyundai. Your entire staff used to be helpful like Chuck but unfortunately with your huge turnover, all the knowledgeable, experienced people are gone, leaving your service department unorganized and inefficient. . Chuck had to go out in the garage and find the leak in my tire after I had waited for 2 hours and the mechanics couldn't find it. I used to recommend Columbia's excellent customer service to everyone but I cannot do that anymore with a clear conscious. The wait time used to be amazingly quick but is now ridiculously slow and the cost is astronomical! The only reason I rated the service center with 5 stars is because of how hard Chuck worked to make a horrible day run smoothly for me. All the very good ratings I gave on this survey are because of the wonderful quality of service I got from him. More
