Very knowledgeable Service Department My dome light wasn’t working and I took it to another service department couple of months ago and they said it was a wiring issue. So today, I thought My dome light wasn’t working and I took it to another service department couple of months ago and they said it was a wiring issue. So today, I thought I take the plunge and have John and his team look at it and fix it for me. Turns out that my car has two switches for interior lights and the one in the very back cargo area was turned off. And just like that, presto, my interior lights work now! It was literally just a flip of a switch! I love it when things happen like that, but it makes you question the other service department! Going to a dealership that has certified OEM techs has paid off since they actually knew that there was a switch in both places and to check them both! This is the 2nd time that this team has helped me with quick fixes where no one else could! More

A simple mistake happened and th Ok. So I never post a review but here goes. I took my 2005 CRV to Columbia Honda to get the recalled airbag replaced. A simple mistake happened and the inflator with the wrong serial number was installed. Trust me, serialization is vital in certain industries. I work for a government contractor and serial numbers better be correct. All that to explain that I realize this can be a big deal. So T.J. Arranged to have my vehicle picked up, repaired and returned at no inconvenience to me (I live 45 minutes east of Columbia) . This service department went above and beyond to make things right. So here is exactly what impressed me. I have been to Columbia Honda twice. Both times were to replace factory recalled airbags two years apart. I have never bought anything from this dealership. No parts, no service, nothing and they treated me like I was their most important customer. If I am EVER in the position to buy a new Honda vehicle, they will have my business! Thank you T.J. and crew. More

He always keeps me informed with what needs to be repaired, how much it will cost, and the urgency of the maintenance. This information helps me schedule out my car maintenance which is incredibly useful as a college student with a tight budget. TJ is incredibly friendly. I'm not sure how many times I've been in to Honda for service, but he always greets me by name as I walk through the door. TJ is always busy, but still finds the time to calmly explain what is going on and answer any questions I have. All in all, TJ is my go to for anything service related at Honda. More

I was stranded, and had no lug nut key for my flat tire, and had to be at work immediately. He brought his tools and another employee. They unlocked my tire, changed it by hand, rotated my tires and SAVED MY DAY! Incredibly generous, quick and effective. Wow. More

Above and Beyond Service! On a bright and sunny Thursday evening I was on my home from work. It was about 5:30 when I hit a curb and popped my tire. A friend and her husband c On a bright and sunny Thursday evening I was on my home from work. It was about 5:30 when I hit a curb and popped my tire. A friend and her husband came to change the tire and we quickly found out that my lugnut "key" was no longer in my possession. I called Columbia Honda thinking that they had neglected to return the "key" to lugnut bag. I spoke with TJ Mitchell who is the Assistant Service Manager. He assured me that his service department did not have it since they did not use the customer's keys. They had several sets to fit a variety of models. I voiced my disappointment because I really had no idea where the key was and how I was going to get my tire changed. TJ inquired about my location and told me that he would be there in about 30 minutes (he was clear across town) with some sets to get the tire off. What?! He was coming to help? That was awesome!! He arrived some time later and attempted to find the correct "key" to remove the lugnut. My relief was short lived as he found that the sets he had couldn't unlock the lugnut. Now, what was I going to do? TJ then asked me to give him some more time. He was going to go back to the dealership and get more sets. He then asked for my keys and told me that he would get the tire changed and lock my keys in the car and it will be done in about an hour! I was floored. Here was this guy that had no reason to spend his time to fix my mistake, but he was doing it! We left and a few hours later I returned to my car and to find that not only had he changed to tire, but he had removed and replaced on the locked lugnuts. I would now have no trouble changing my tires! I purchased my car from Columbia Honda and have taken it to them for every oil change. The service department has always been helpful, kind, and informative. They inform me of areas of concern that they find and give me options on how to handle them. However, this act of service truly went above and beyond what I would ever expect. Thank you to TJ for his generous sacrifice of his time and talent. More

Car repaired with timing belt and water pump We were told when we bought the car that the timing belt had been replaced but the service department kept saying it hadn't. Finally after negotiations they finally agreed to pay half. I have complete confidence in the service department. You can feel safe driving your car knowing that they will take care of you. Next in buying a car anywhere I will get every tiny detail in writing. More
