Lies, disrespect and threats Purchased car in 2015, each year it has needed the same major repair of the clutch. Was done under warranty twice, but less than a year after the last Purchased car in 2015, each year it has needed the same major repair of the clutch. Was done under warranty twice, but less than a year after the last replacement the clutch went out again . Troy Goss service managr initially refused to warranty the work done, then lied about warranty procedures, then after he agreed to warranty the work goes back on his words and says it will be $1800 not covered. He then threatened to tow our car out to the street when we questioned and complained . By far the worst customer service ever . We have a claim open with Ford against them, and filed a complaint with the bbb. Buyer beware. More

Mak was very professional, patient, and friendly during the whole process. I had't purchased a new vehicle in over 9 years. I greatly appreciated not being pressured in any way. I even appreciated having an additional discount applied to the purchase price of the car. Loving my new Escape! This was the second car I have purchased from Columbia Ford. Mechanic failed to diagnose a problem with a 2010 Hyundai I brought my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change on 24 Aug 2017, and to diagnose a clunking sound in the front end when going over an uneven ro I brought my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change on 24 Aug 2017, and to diagnose a clunking sound in the front end when going over an uneven road. Eric Olson was the Service Advisor. Stephen Beaman, the mechanic, found that the sway bar end links were the problem. I had him put the car back up on the rack to show me. There was no play in either end link, but I was reaffirmed this was the cause. I declined the repair but was charged $112.00. In the fall of 2017 I noticed that one front strut and one back shock were leaking so I had a local repair shop replace both struts, the end links, and the rear shocks. I inspected the old end links and there was no play in any of the four lubricated joints. But the car was still making the clunking noise so I had the repair shop put it back on the rack so I could inspect all moving parts and connections on the front of the car. Using a flashlight to see the front engine mount, I discovered the 12mm x 5 inch front engine mount bolt was missing. It had been missing for some time, and was the cause of the front end clunking noise. The mechanic should have seen that the bolt was missing when he conducted the "12 point inspection." I purchased a replacement zinc-coated bolt and nylon lock nut from a local merchant and had it installed because the Hyundai parts list didn't state the size of the bolt or the type of OEM nut. Engine mount bolts should be secured with a locking nut or cotter pin. Apparently it was a standard nut and the vibration caused it to loosen and fall off, then the bolt fell out. More
