Columbia Ford Kia - Service Center

Very disappointed! First let me say that I bought my truck from Columbia Ford three years ago. Sales was fantastic. I never had any issues with the service departm First let me say that I bought my truck from Columbia Ford three years ago. Sales was fantastic. I never had any issues with the service department until this time. I brought my truck in because I was having an issue with my brakes. When you pump the pedal up it would drift to the floor. (I had just had the pads replaced four weeks ago.) I received a phone call and they told me that the pistons in the calipers were pushing and warping the brake pads and in-turn warping the rotors. Thing is, is that it was doing this prior to the brake job. I questioned whether they looked at everything and she said yes. They recommend pads, resurface all four rotors. Not really sure that it would fix the problem I authorized it. I picked it up around closing time. It came to $921.00. They charged me a diagnostic fee but they also said they found a bad caliper and replaced it but didn't charge me for that because they never called me to tell me about it. Whatever! I paid, hopped in my truck and checked it. Guess what? The pedal was the same. Pump it up and drift to the floor. I went back inside they came out looked at it, never pumped up the brakes like I explained to them and they said it was normal for that truck. It never did that when I bought it. Started 3-4 months ago. Anyway they told me to drive it for the weekend and see if it feels different after I drove it for a couple days. I know a few great diesel mechanics. I had two independent mechanics look at it over the weekend at separate times. I never told them what the other said. They both agree that the diagnosis/repair that was done was not the right diagnosis/repair and they both said that the brake pedal drifting to the floor is wrong and both said the same thing as to what they found as the problem. I am now out $921.00 on a repair that didn't need to be done and my truck is not fixed. Monday I will be right back down there. Do I recommend bring your vehicle to the service department? No! More

Quick and efficient This dealership is accommodating , friendly, clean and filled with experts that are eager to help you. I bought my car there and have taken it there for every oil change since. I would not take my car anywhere else. I recently had a near dead battery and an appointment I was going to miss. Always Get Good Service I always get good service when I go to Columbia Ford. I was not sure they would hear the noise I was concerned about in my car and not only did they I always get good service when I go to Columbia Ford. They put my mind at ease about the cost of the repair by determining it would be covered under warranty and ordered the necessary part. The part came in within a couple of days and my repair was done quickly and efficiently. More

oil change and 15,000 mile ck also brakes never received the paper work as I was promise in the mail. Vehicle floors not cleaned I do not know if this is done with an oil change or not.
