Initially, I liked that the email I received back in response to my original email was NOT computer generated. He was forthcoming with pricing that was fair, and listened to my concerns about monthly payment and interest rates. When I got to the dealership he was very kind and friendly in person. Again, he listened to all my concerns and addressed each one. Moving onto Sara in the finance department was a little intimidating. All those numbers and all that paperwork can be daunting. Sara took the time to explain everything. She didn't once get frustrated if I didn't understand, she just reviewed it with me again. She also suggested some add-ons like an extended warranty, that I couldn't afford to work into my car payment but that I really wanted. Again there was NO pressure to add these on, they were merely suggested, and she gave me some alternatives that will help me purchase them in the near future. All in All I really felt like this dealership went to bat for me, valued my business, and treated me as the individual that I am, and not just another annoying customer. They won my business, and I would recommend them to anyone and would buy from them again and again. More

At other dealers I felt pressured and that I was taking up their time, but I felt welcomed and comfortable at Columbia Ford from the start. We live 5 minutes away from two other Ford Dealerships but decided to go with Columbia which is 40 minutes away! Reason for this is that we were so incredibly impressed by Ed Carpenter and Chris the manag but decided to go with Columbia which is 40 minutes away! Reason for this is that we were so incredibly impressed by Ed Carpenter and Chris the manager on our initial visit to purchase a used car they had. When we changed our mind and decided to order new we stuck with them because of their honestly, personality and knowledge. We were also incredibly impressed by the facility itself, we have never seen such a "cool" dealership~ the design, the cleanliness etc..all very inviting. It was worth the long drive for the purchase. More
