Car was there for a checkup two months earlier oil change and to have brakes looked at all was ok at that time. so for a battery and a alternator plus labor $1195 very unexceptable. Then while driving the day later the car stalls again in traffic.very unsatisfied . More

I would recommend more of an initial outreach to repeat customers to reward their loyalty and encourage them to make their next purchase there, as well. I wasn't offered any sort of reduction, or increase benefit, and when I mentioned my disappointment, I was asked if I had asked for any. If my continued patronage is valued, I shouldn't have to ask, it should be offered. For me, the monthly payments, and not the total price tag, were my main concern, and I made it clear that I was looking to keep the payments around $150. When the financing came in at the top of the forecast range, no effort was made to lower it, until I expressed my dissatisfaction. Ultimately, the amount offered for my trade was increased, and the price lowered, for a combined $500, which was appreciated, but I would have felt more valued as a customer if I hadn't had to haggle for it. I don't pick up the car until Tuesday, so I can't yet express an opinion on the car, but I am optimistic, and believe that I will come to Gates for my next car, as much for the employees, as anything else. I also think a more realistic estimate of times, when getting a customer to come in to fill out paperwork, would be an improvement. Much like when I closed on my Wife's Kia, I was asked to come in for about 1/2 an hour, to complete paperwork, and it ended up taking about 1-1/2 hours. I expected it, this time, but I still found it annoying. Like everyone, my time is valuable, and I would feel that the dealership felt the same if they gave me an honest expectation of how long it will take to get things done. These are meant to be suggestions to improve the next customer's experience, more than a complaint. Ultimately, I ended up buying a car for more than I wanted to spend, with features I didn't want, and I hope that I get as much out of it as I did my last car. If I do, I will be back for my next car, I am sure. More

We went on a test drive and he answered many questions. The sales Manager followed up with personal e-mail thanking us for the visit. We took a couple of days considering the deal and verifying that the truck had the options we were looking for. A second visit Luis pulled the truck out of the line up to compare with ours. We are sold and in the final stage before taking delivery. Before we left the first oil change was setup as part of the 2 year maintenance plan a nice touch. More

I bought my truck from columbia and usually do my service there even though I live approximately 40 miles away in Cheshire. It is worth my trip. I was concerned with a new noise underneath my truck that I thought was some sort of flange rattle (it turned out to be a broken clamp that was replaced during this service. I try to take great care of my truck and completely trust the staff to care for it. Dylan Tellier even signed the oil change sticker on my windshield. He did a great job with all service I requested and I want to say I appreciate all that he did. Also it was a pleasure dealing with Ciara at the service desk. She was extremely polite, professional and efficient. Thank you! More
