You are so right! This was totally our fault. Everything you said is accurate. There is just a little more to the story that you did not know. We had the car secured from Burlington VW in NJ. We traded a car weeks prior to the delivery of your presumed car with the promise they would call us the day it arrived at their dealership. We’ll, they sold the car out from under us. They had a customer interested in the car that was promised to Colonial (your car) and they sold it, which stuck it to us. In turn we stuck it to you. Taking and keeping a $1500 deposit from you or any customer has no logic nor does it earn my any commission unless we deliver and finalize the deal. Because of that we paid the ultimate price and lost a sale and a customer. Please try to forgive us. We really wanted to sell you that great car. That’s how we pay the bills. By the way we attempted to contact you several times at the Pub n Kitchen to no avail. I was told you were busy in the restaurant. I would never intentionally ignore a customer wanting to purchase a car from me. That would be professional suicide as all of my earnings is 100% commission. I hope you enjoy your new car and once again I am sorry if you were offended and I lost a sale and a valued customer. Randy

There is nothing these slugs won't say to sell a car. The tactics employed by the salespeople at Colonial Auto Group exemplify why car salespeople have the horrible reputation they do. After applying More

To toss personal insults over a website serves no purpose. My name is George, not Conman. Your story although passionately put has a little more to it. Please allow me to elaborate. Everything you said minus the name calling is TRUE. The vehicle we found for you was (as you found out) located at a Used Car Lot in Palmyra NJ. They had the car listed for $15995 as stated. Surely you would not expect me to sell it for $15996? The vehicle would have to be transported to Colonial, put through our service department, perform a PA State Safety Inspection and Emissions test since the car came from NJ. Also we would have to assume at the least some type of limited Power train warranty and this is all under the assumption the vehicle was in good running order and did not require excessive repairs. Then a full detail and fuel. Remember the vehicle was being sold off a Used Car Lot and not a Jaguar Dealership. Lastly we added some profit. The difference in price included: transportation, servicing, PA State inspections and emissions, Limited Power train Warranty, Frame and Title check, full detail and fuel. As you know, customers have the ultimate power to say yes or no. You said no and for that I am sorry we did not reach an agreement. There are 4 Colonial Dealerships. The other 3 have no idea who you are and had nothing to do with that situation. It seems it is my entire fault not Colonials and not Salespeople in general. I am sure you know there are good cops and bad cops, good lawyers and bad lawyers, good bus drivers and bad bus drivers as well as good and bad salespeople. You can't paint everyone with the same brush. Evidently you feel I am one of the bad ones and for that I truly apologize. Peace George

We at Colonial Volkswagen Subaru are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. I understand that your wife was very dissappointed that evening. I was also very dissappointed to find the Tribeca had been borrowed overnight by the owner and I was not able to offer that vehicle for sale that day. I had no idea that he had taken the car. I remember we scheduled a meeting for your wife to visit the dealership and test drive the Tribeca and that time was 7pm. She told me it would take her an hour to get here from her location. At 5pm I wanted to freshen up the vehicle for her and make sure it had fuel for her test drive to insure everything would be ready for her when she arrived. I walked the lot and did not find the Tribeca. After a little investigation I realized the owner had taken that car overnight. I then attempted several times to contact the owner by cell phone, text and email. At that time I contacted your wife with the dissappointing news. I recall the time to be between 5pm to 5:30pm. I hoped to catch her before she began her way to Colonial. I am truely sorry I did not catch her in time. I tried. I did not want her to make the hour drive and the vehicle not be here for her. We spoke later and I informed your wife the tribeca would be back the following evening for her. I aploogized again. I only sell automobiles for a living and I lost a sale that day. The situation that came about was out of my control. I am sorry. Following my conversation with your wife we noticed your comment on dealerrater.com. I hope you can reconsider your opinion toward this dealership and choose to edit your listing. I would really appreciate that. Marty
