I entered Colonial Nissan two nights ago looking for a particular deal, and I pretty much got what I wanted. My most recent vehicle, a 2001 Kia Sportage, was on its deathbed, and I was facing the very re particular deal, and I pretty much got what I wanted. My most recent vehicle, a 2001 Kia Sportage, was on its deathbed, and I was facing the very real possibility of busing to work while I searched for another used car, which I knew would take at least a month. So, knowing that their summer deals on 2010 models were ending, I thought I might buy a new car for the first time in my life if I got a decent deal. I walked in a spoke with Gary Starr immediately. I told him I was interested in the 2010 Rogue and had driven it multiple times when it had come out last year, but I had originally decided against buying a new car. I also knew it was on their model year end deals list, and wanted to get one for invoice for the 0% APR. No haggling was involved really, he just said that would be fine. He didn't seem to care too much about the price haggling since he was in finance and didn't make commission, so I felt I had received a fair deal. Unfortunately, I was not approved for 0% APR, despite my good credit score, because all I've ever had is revolving credit, and have never taken out a loan on a car/house before. I ended up still getting a very low rate, and it turns out that, given my down payment, the rebate that is offered instead of the 0% APR almost completely covers the finance charges on the 60 month note, so it didn't really matter, and will actually benefit me if I pay the car off early. I left them with my Kia the following morning while they cleaned and prepped the new ride, and when I went to pick it up in the afternoon, Rich, my sales person, offered to pick me up and give me a ride back to the dealership. I thought that was very nice of him, but I actually declined and just walked over there from where I was. When I got there, they gave me all of their standard speeches about the car that they must be required to do, and I drove it off the lot around 6 pm. Overall, I thought these people were very friendly, and didn't try to "sell" me anything. I mean, obviously I was in the market to buy a car, so they didn't have to sell me that, but they didn't do much pushing of any extra stuff on me and didn't make me feel like I was just another body that they were selling a car to, even though I probably was. I like that, so I would suggest them to anyone. More

He was patient, a good listener and communicator, and he did not try to oversell us. After discussion (sometimes humorous) and a test drive (for two people), we bought a 2010 Sentra. The atmosphere was very positive and friendly. Every sales and custodial staff member acknowledged or chatted with us. No tension evident at all. During our financing discussion with Gary, there was consideration for our needs, pleasant humor, and no overselling. We live about 4 miles from the dealership. Something came up at work for my husband that kept us from going to the dealership the day of delivery. So Alan Gallagher went out of his way to get it to us by picking me up in our new car and driving me to the dealership to finalize things. I drove away a very happy buyer. I will be recommending them to family and friends, and know where to go next time we're car shopping. More

The whole experience was great. After five months of looking, my husband found the car we wanted at the price we wanted at Colonial Nissan. Alan was very friendly, but not pushy and Gary, the business manager, was very professional in creating terms that made us happy and stayed in our budget. I now have a 2008 Nissan Rogue with plenty of space for my whole family and couldn't be more pleased. Erin Da Silvaneto P.S. They also have staff members who speak Portuguese. More

His service and dedication put me at ease and he works 100% for the customer to make sure you are 100% happy. Al is communicative, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the business to ensure that I got the best possible deal for the car and for my trade in. He is an asset to Colonial Nissan of Medford and fantastic to deal with. He walked me though each step and understood that my time is valuable. He, and the rest of the staff genuinely appreciated the business and made sure to walk through every aspect of the car before I drove it home, so I was comfortable. I researched other dealers, who were not as friendly and willing to work with me. Al has a very positive work ethic and really worked with me, and respected my guidelines, to get me the best vehicle. I recommend Al and Colonial Nissan to my highest regard. More

I had visited 3 Nissan dealers with little success in consumating a purchase that I felt comfortable with. I answered a newspaper add from Colonial Nissan and talked with Mr. Alan Gallagher,Sales & Leasing Consultant. Mr. Gallaghers friendly demeaner and knowledge convinced me to travel from Cape Cod to Colonials facilty in Medford Ma. Upon arriving at the Colonial Dealership in Medford I was met by Mr. Gallagher whose professionalism and sincerity put me immediately at ease. We discussed the purchase of a Nissan Maxima from all aspects-pricing,incentives ,rebates, financing, models, features etc. To make a long story short, I purchased a Nissan Maxima S model on the spot- I can honesatly say that Mr. Gallaghers friendliness and demeaner played a great part in my decision. I have patronized automobile service departments and service stations since I purchased my first vehicle in 1964. I purchased my first Nissan product, a 2005 Altima SE,in 2005,from Kelly Nissan in Lynnf service stations since I purchased my first vehicle in 1964. I purchased my first Nissan product, a 2005 Altima SE,in 2005,from Kelly Nissan in Lynnfield, MA and I next purchased a 2008 Nissan Maxima SL from Ira Nissan in Woburn, MA. My Altima was serviced at Kelly, Ira and the Marlboro, MA dealership's service departments. Not pleased with any of the three. However, the Service Department of Colonial Nissan of Medford, MA is "EXCELLENT". It is the finest service department I have dealt with since "1968". Professional, courteous, dedicated, high quality work sustained, and communication are just a few of the attributes associated with Colonial Nissan of Medford, MA. Service Manager, Mr. Jim Islami, and his service rep's Mr. Borofsky, and Ms. Sasso are a true credit to the Nissan Corp. I would hope Nissan would recognize all three individuals with their GOLD Award, and provide them with a monetary award representative of their distinguished service to their customers. If it were not for this service department, I would not have purchased my 2009 Maxima SV. This service department is the best I have dealt with in over 42 years. V/r Thomas C. Healey More
