My mom had passed away in October and left me some money, so I had decided to buy a new Maxima. I stopped at other Nissan dealerships in Woburn and Lynnfield, but no one approached me or offered assistance ( so I had decided to buy a new Maxima. I stopped at other Nissan dealerships in Woburn and Lynnfield, but no one approached me or offered assistance (maybe I didn't look rich enough?). I came to Colonial, and within a few minutes Fred came outside and concluded his phone call in order to speak to me. Fred was happy to show me a few Maximas and take me for a test drive, even though I said I didn't want to waste his time and wasn't ready to buy that day. He even listened to me babble about my mom's passing and expressed his condolances. About 4 weeks later I came by and asked for Fred. He remembered me and showed me a Maxima that included the list of options I wanted. From there it was very relaxed, a lot of waiting (mostly on the financing), but low pressure, and Fred periodically offered us beverages while we waited. I drove it off the lot the same day. Fred called me personally with updates on my registration, insurance, etc. Even the people I didn't deal with were very friendly. The staff is very cool and low pressure. I very much recommend this dealership. More
Al Abramson is a very good follow-up salesman. He called me and left messages about 9 times and sent me two notes in the mail without being annoying or obnoxious. He has great persistence and is very friendly and humorous. He even followed up after I had been to the store with one of his assigned salesman. He is flexible and listens well. As soon as I got to the dealership Al helped me out a lot, was really friendly and gave a me a lot of recommendations. I went for a drive test with him and picked up exactly the combination I wanted for lot, was really friendly and gave a me a lot of recommendations. I went for a drive test with him and picked up exactly the combination I wanted for the interior and exterior of my new car. The arrangement for delivery and paperwork were fast and efficient. Definitely the best customer service I have got from a sales person in a dealer, always polite and honest. That was indeed the best selling point of this dealership. The financiacion part, which was not handled unfortunately by Al was a different story. More
WE SAW A USED MINIVAN ON THEIR WEBSITE. PRICE WAS OVER BLUE BOOK VALUE BY $1500. PAYMENT CALCULATOR ON WEBSITE QUOTED $171.48/MONTH FOR 60 MONTHS WITH ZERO DOWN FOR THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICE. DESCRIPTION OF VA BLUE BOOK VALUE BY $1500. PAYMENT CALCULATOR ON WEBSITE QUOTED $171.48/MONTH FOR 60 MONTHS WITH ZERO DOWN FOR THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICE. DESCRIPTION OF VAN ON WEBSITE ALSO STATED " PERFECT FOR SOCCER MOMS WHO DONT WANT ALL THOSE CONFUSING OPTION" PRETTY SEXIST!!! ANYWAY , WE WENT IN AND SHOWED SALESMAN THE VALUE, HE THEN CAME BACK WITH HIGHER VALUE. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO TALK PAYMENTS, WE WERE TOLD THAT WITH $1000 DOWN, OUR PAYMENTS WOULD BE AROUND $200/MONTH. ???? HOW COULD THAT BE IF WE KNOCKED $1000 OFF THEIR PRICE AND PUT $100 DOWN??WE WERE LIED TO FROM THE BEGINNING AND WILL NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER EVEN IF WE WIN THE LOTTERY.... I recently leased a 2010 Nissan Sentra. I had a lot of questions, and the salesman was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I was out for the 1st time looking for a new car with my 9yo daughter after an accident that totaled my old car. This dealership was th 3rd we had visited and my daughter was getting tired and bored. When we entered the dealership we were greeted with a smile and offered immediate help. They immediately took us out to look at the Altima (which was the car I was interested in). The 1st salesman, Geo, had to help someone else but introduced us to Al who took over helping us. Al drove us over to the lot where the surplus of vehicles were located. It started getting dark, but that didn't stop us from looking at every car that met my criteria. Once we found the car I likes, Al drove us back to the dealership and went back to get the car I was interested in. To keep my daughter occupied while waiting for Al to return, we were dancing in the lot. She was having a great time. Once Al returned, we were looking at all the details of the car, when we opened the trunk, I jokingly told my daughter to get into the trunk, of course Al started telling be about the safety release. Then my daughter actually got into the trunk. Al put down the back seat and my daughter was able to lie flat in the car, she was so excited that she said this was the car we had to buy. My daughter played with her DS while laying in the car while Al and I discussed price and options. Al was able to meet my price without much haggling and I walked away feeling like I made a good deal and my daughter was happy. Although we were at the dealership much later than expected, Al never once made me feel like he was rushing me to make a decision or that the store was closed and we had to leave. It was just the 3 of us and the cleaning crew when we shook hands and sealed the deal. More
