Colonial Nissan of Medford responded

We never spoke with BuyCar12 directly on the phone. Moreover, he opted out of email, so text message was used. I made a significant price error in my quote, which was compounded by several subsequent text messages working on the same inaccurate quote. The customer acknowledges he "doubted the price", which is based on competitive quotes he received. The price was never ""rechecked three times", but, rather was confirmed by BuyCar12's own text messages sent at a time when we were closed at 645 AM on the morning of the storm and his visit. Bottom line, I made a mistake on the quote, no question, but, I apologized as demonstrated by the verbatim text I sent right after BuyCar12 left the store. I sent the following text message to Buycar12 March 13, 2017 shortly after he visited. "Hello Jungyu, I understand you visited this morning and that you were not happy when you left, as the price texted was not the price when you arrived, for which I take full responsibility. It's my error, nobody's fault but mine. I know you were shopping for best price and, based upon the competitive pricing you received, I know that the price I quoted was several thousand dollars lower from our competitors. I'm most sorry for the error and especially for your coming in today because of it. Unfortunately, I did not see your 2 texts this morning attempting to confirm the pricing and advising you were planning to visit, as they were sent a couple of hours before we opened. Again, I'm personally sorry for my mistake, I know I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for the consequences it caused you to come in this morning. I rely on your judgment and understanding to do what you feel is right under the circumstances. Sincerely, Michael Fuller." We subsequently reached out to BuyCar12 the day we received his Review in an effort to resolve his complaints, but, we've yet to hear from him.
