The Colonial Nissan of Medford, MA Service Department is the finest service department I have encountered in over 45 years of driving. During that time I have owned twenty three (23) vehicles and this servi the finest service department I have encountered in over 45 years of driving. During that time I have owned twenty three (23) vehicles and this service department harkens back to the days of quality service as opposed to today's service departments, which do not genuinely care about the customer. I can state unequivocally for the record that Mr. Islami and his service department personnel are superb. Every time I have my vehicle serviced I am confident that the job will be done "correctly, the first time". I alspo appreciate the open dialgogue they provide if I have a question.which is unsurpassed by any other dealership. Over the course of the last two years on two (2) occasions I have thought of purchasing a vehicle from a different manufacturer. But, I recognize that it took me many a year to find a service department of this caliber and each time I relent as my number one priority is having the vehicle serviced properly. I state for the record, Mr. Islami and his service department is the finest in the New England area. Due to Mr. Islami and his staff three (3) friends have purchased vehicles at Colonial Nissan of Medford and two others, who did not have confidence in their dealerships, have their maintenance services performed at Colonial Nissan of Medford. Normally, I do NOT recommend companies to others. However, in this case, I do and each of my friends and associates who have their vehicles serviced there are completely satisfied. All I wanted was a part for a Sentra S for one of my customers. I went to the parts dept and got nothing but a bad attitude from a guy with a gotee. He condescending and just down right rude. I bought my first new car from them back in 2007, and went back when my fiancee was looking for a Rogue. At that time, it was nearly impossible to get someone to talk with us, and when they did, they jus went back when my fiancee was looking for a Rogue. For the better. Yesterday I went in because I needed to get my brakes done and a new muffler. After hearing that it would cost a fortune to get my 07 Versa fixed, I wanted to know what it would cost to trade in the Versa and get a new Juke. That's when we met Al Abramson. That totally changed my opinion of Colonial Nissan. He wasn't pushy at all, was incredibly helpful and really knew about the car. And he had the dry, sarcastic sense of humor that was just our speed. Rather than trying to pressure me into getting something, he was perfectly honest, and made me feel completely comfortable and excited about getting my new Juke. So much so that my fiancee decided to see what she could get by trading in her Rogue for an Xterra. To make a long story short, we walked in on a Saturday with me pissed off about paying to get my 07 Versa fixed, and we walked out buying two new cars. My husband and I visited Colonial Nissan because they had by far the best selection of the model in which we were interested. Also, in the process of doing online searches and having to give our contact inf by far the best selection of the model in which we were interested. Also, in the process of doing online searches and having to give our contact information in order to get information back, we were deluged by daily phone calls and emails from every dealer who received our information—except Colonial. Colonial was the only dealership who sent out truly useful emails, didn't phone, and didn't pressure us in any way. That in itself was a uniquely pleasant experience. When we arrived at Colonial we were approached by Al Abramson, who was friendly, amusing, knowledgeable about his product, and helpful without being overbearing. I have to say this is the first time in my life I have actually enjoyed buying a car. The transaction went smoothly from start to finish, was efficiently handled, and we left very pleased with our purchase. We would recommend Colonial Nissan, and Mr. Abramson in particular, to anyone looking for either a new or used Nissan. It was a great experience! More
