I spoke with Heather by phone after looking at a used car online. She was very friendly and informative which made the difference in wanting to drive all the way to Colonial Mazda to check it out (2.5 hours online. Once there she introduced us to John McNeil. John was very helpful. He was not too pushy, which I appreciated. He let us test drive the car by ourselves, and then came with us to respond to a concern. He assured us he would take care of the issues we raised. Over the next few days he stayed in touch to let me know the progress. One issue could not be resolved (a design flaw in the car itself--a Prius) and he offered to return the deposit if I was no longer interested. I did purchase the car and was very pleased with how helpful John was in completing the process, including the return of the rental car. John is the kind of salesperson I would want for any purchase--honest, helpful, straight forward, and not too pushy. I'd recommend him to anyone wishing to purchase a vehicle. More

I just purchased a 2002 Toyota 4Runner from the dealership today. I found the vehicle on line and sent in a request form to be contacted by the dealership. Heather with the Internet Sales Dept. was wonderful in following up with me right away, and she was persistent (in a good way) in staying in touch with me until I was able to get into the dealership to see the vehicle. Once I got to the dealership, I worked with Adam in the Sales Department. Adam is a straightforward, honest and very low key salesperson who did not pressure me into a buying decision at all. He patiently answered my questions and took for me for an informative test drive. It was clear that Adam cares more about his customers than he does about the process of selling a car. Adam was extremely diligent about following up with me after my initial visit, and he kept me informed of the loan approval process until the sale was finalized. Fred in the finance department made signing and understanding all of the financing details a breeze. He offered me a vehicle warranty even though my vehicle is older, and I accepted it based on his sound logic and rationale. I know that Fred researched diligently to find the right bank/ interest rate so that my monthly vehicle payment would fit within my budget requirements. Overall, I had an extremely positive buying experience with Colonial Mazda from start to finish, and I would highly recommend them for your next new or used vehicle purchase!! More

He even got on his hands and knees to clean a few spots on the car when I went to pick it up! Originally I went in to look at buying a new 2013 Mazda3 but Adam showed me a certified pre-owned 2012 model that had been used as a service vehicle with only 4.5K miles. It was a slightly less expensive than the new model and it was a higher trim level with many more options. It ended up being the car I purchased and a week later I absolutely love it. Many thanks to Adam and the Colonial Mazda team. More

He is extremely knowledgeable about the product he sells and is more than happy to share his knowledge with the buyer. He listened to what I had to say and made it clear that he and the dealership would be able to make a good and fair deal with me. I drove away today in my new Mazda CX-5 and have nothing but high praise for John and his dealership. They actually made getting a new car a good experience! More
This dealership is unethical and I don't and won't recommend them to any friends or family. I had put down a $500 down payment on a car to hold it. My initial credit app was denied so the sales rep and I were emailing back and forth for a day or two as to what I was planning to do regarding financing. The sales rep emailed my on Jan 1 and I emailed him back within an hour of his email and said I would go with another co-signor and would submit the application later that evening. I submitted the app and email the sales rep that same night. I get an email back the next day (Jan 2nd) and said they sold the car. I called the rep and told him we had a deal and I put a good faith down payment down to hold the car. His/their excuse was that it was the end of the month and they didn't know what I was going to do (which was baloney) so they (the sales manager per the sales rep) made a business decision to sell the car. What a sleazy thing to do. For this reason, I don't recommend this dealership at all. I've bought a number of cars at dealerships and have put down payments down to hold the car for more than a few days. The sales rep was apologetic but that's no excuse. If this is the way they do business than I want no part of them. I don't recommend this dealership at all! More

I’m a single female who knows what I wanted and needed it in a very short period of time. My vehicle was totaled in early December; by the time I received the check from the insurance company – Christmas was in a very short period of time. My vehicle was totaled in early December; by the time I received the check from the insurance company – Christmas was within days. I needed an AWD vehicle with a remote control car starter. Those were my only two requirements. With the holidays quickly approaching, I was worried that a dealership wouldn’t be able to install the remote controller starter before I took the vehicle off the lot. I was wrong! The car was prepped and ready to go when I needed it! I walked in, completed all the paperwork and was on the road within less than an hour and it was late evening on a Friday night. Even though it was close to closing time – John, Fred and Roy were very professional and made sure I had all my answers before leaving the lot without feeling rushed. More

When negotiating the price, Adam worked with us in a reasonable way, making it one of the best car buying experiences we have had.
