As a former employee of Colonial Mazda, I always come back to them for new cars. This is my 4th purchase and I couldn't be happier. John McNeil was an amazing salesman! He made us feel like we were visiting an old friend. He kept us comfortable and we laughed the whole test drive. He explained the car in detail and is just a very friendly guy in general. I will be telling everyone who notices my hot new CX5 and everyone else about my excellent experience at Colonial. Dave the manager was also excellent as always ;) More
I was very pleased with the way Dave Adam helped make my car buying experience at Colonial a pleasant one. He worked with me on getting me a good price for my CX-5 and my trade-in. I didn't feel pushed into making a decision as I felt I would at Riley in Stamford. He was personable and polite. Throughout the buying process I really felt good, at ease and informed. When he handed me over to Patrick Larson who accompanied me for my first drive of my new car and the rest of the buying process I felt equally well taken care of. Patrick made sure I was happy with the car and made sure to answer any questions I might have. Even after I had left the dealership and was on my way home he helped collect some forgotten items I had left in my old car after I had called him. I had no problem on deciding that I would continue servicing my car there even though I live 34-40 miles away. When I had to return a week later to have the satellite radio installed the service department was accomodating. The only thing I was a little bothered by was that the installer really didn't take the time to show me how the automatic starter worked after I paid to have that installed too. He basically said 'you'll have to read the instructions which are in the glove compartment'. It took me about a week to really sit down and work it out when it was something I really could have used during the frigid temps at that time! Otherwise, he was helpful and personable when we first chatted over what needed to be done on the car that day. Having had a good experience all around I would definitely recommend Colonial Mazda to anyone.....and would strongly suggest the CX-5! I love the handling of it and it's economical fuel consumption! I was blown away by the level of professionalism and understanding that salesman Patrick Larson showed when purchasing my vehicle.. Not only did he take the time to listen to my needs and wants as a con understanding that salesman Patrick Larson showed when purchasing my vehicle.. Not only did he take the time to listen to my needs and wants as a consumer but he also Treated me as if I was an old friend as opposed to a new customer! I have always hated dealing with car salesmen But this experience completely changed my mind and now I know that there are a few good ones out there!... I would highly recommend anybody looking for a new car goes and talks to Pat at colonial Mazda you won't be disappointed... I know I wasn't!! More

I spoke with Heather by phone after looking at a used car online. She was very friendly and informative which made the difference in wanting to drive all the way to Colonial Mazda to check it out (2.5 hours online. Once there she introduced us to John McNeil. John was very helpful. He was not too pushy, which I appreciated. He let us test drive the car by ourselves, and then came with us to respond to a concern. He assured us he would take care of the issues we raised. Over the next few days he stayed in touch to let me know the progress. One issue could not be resolved (a design flaw in the car itself--a Prius) and he offered to return the deposit if I was no longer interested. I did purchase the car and was very pleased with how helpful John was in completing the process, including the return of the rental car. John is the kind of salesperson I would want for any purchase--honest, helpful, straight forward, and not too pushy. I'd recommend him to anyone wishing to purchase a vehicle. More
Walked in to look at the brand new CX-5. We were introduced to Adam, very pleasant person to work with. He helped us get into the budget we were planning for. From the moment I walked into the dealership, it was a positive experience. I was introduced to John McNeil and felt an immediate connection with him. He is extremely knowledgeable about the product he sells and is more than happy to share his knowledge with the buyer. He listened to what I had to say and made it clear that he and the dealership would be able to make a good and fair deal with me. I drove away today in my new Mazda CX-5 and have nothing but high praise for John and his dealership. They actually made getting a new car a good experience! More
I just purchased a 2002 Toyota 4Runner from the dealership today. I found the vehicle on line and sent in a request form to be contacted by the dealership. Heather with the Internet Sales Dept. was wonderful in following up with me right away, and she was persistent (in a good way) in staying in touch with me until I was able to get into the dealership to see the vehicle. Once I got to the dealership, I worked with Adam in the Sales Department. Adam is a straightforward, honest and very low key salesperson who did not pressure me into a buying decision at all. He patiently answered my questions and took for me for an informative test drive. It was clear that Adam cares more about his customers than he does about the process of selling a car. Adam was extremely diligent about following up with me after my initial visit, and he kept me informed of the loan approval process until the sale was finalized. Fred in the finance department made signing and understanding all of the financing details a breeze. He offered me a vehicle warranty even though my vehicle is older, and I accepted it based on his sound logic and rationale. I know that Fred researched diligently to find the right bank/ interest rate so that my monthly vehicle payment would fit within my budget requirements. Overall, I had an extremely positive buying experience with Colonial Mazda from start to finish, and I would highly recommend them for your next new or used vehicle purchase!! More

He even got on his hands and knees to clean a few spots on the car when I went to pick it up! Originally I went in to look at buying a new 2013 Mazda3 but Adam showed me a certified pre-owned 2012 model that had been used as a service vehicle with only 4.5K miles. It was a slightly less expensive than the new model and it was a higher trim level with many more options. It ended up being the car I purchased and a week later I absolutely love it. Many thanks to Adam and the Colonial Mazda team. More
