Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Tom Amalfitano was superb. He went out of his way to accomodate us. He never made us feel uncomfortable with our many requests for test drives or " we are going to be superb. He went out of his way to accomodate us. When we arrived it was the same scenario, extremely friendly and helpful, this created a no pressure atmosphere. We test drove the vehicle and fell in love with it, they walked us through the financing process which took no time at all just like they had promised. They helped us lock in on a great rate for financing and we purchased the vehicle. When we went back several days later to pick up the vehicle they gave us everything we asked for and the light, pressure free atmosphere made the car buying experience much more pleasurable than we have had in the past. I was very pleased with the way Dave Adam helped make my car buying experience at Colonial a pleasant one. He worked with me on getting me a good price for my CX-5 and my trade-in. I didn't feel pushed into making a decision as I felt I would at Riley in Stamford. He was personable and polite. Throughout the buying process I really felt good, at ease and informed. When he handed me over to Patrick Larson who accompanied me for my first drive of my new car and the rest of the buying process I felt equally well taken care of. Patrick made sure I was happy with the car and made sure to answer any questions I might have. Even after I had left the dealership and was on my way home he helped collect some forgotten items I had left in my old car after I had called him. I had no problem on deciding that I would continue servicing my car there even though I live 34-40 miles away. When I had to return a week later to have the satellite radio installed the service department was accomodating. The only thing I was a little bothered by was that the installer really didn't take the time to show me how the automatic starter worked after I paid to have that installed too. He basically said 'you'll have to read the instructions which are in the glove compartment'. It took me about a week to really sit down and work it out when it was something I really could have used during the frigid temps at that time! Otherwise, he was helpful and personable when we first chatted over what needed to be done on the car that day. Having had a good experience all around I would definitely recommend Colonial Mazda to anyone.....and would strongly suggest the CX-5! I love the handling of it and it's economical fuel consumption!
