I came into the showroom John McNeil at Colonial Mazda in Danbury dispelled all of my stereotypes for car salesmen. He did not pressure me in any way. I came into the showroom with no idea of what I wanted to buy. My 2003 manual Acura RSX was totaled in an accident so I didn't know if I wanted to purchase another manual or switch over to an automatic. He was very patient and took me on very long test drives to get to know the feel of each one. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me all of the facts I needed to know to make my own decision. He even worked on his day off to get the car I wanted from another dealer. As a result, I am now the happy, proud owner of a hot red Mazda3 hatchback. ZOOM! ZOOM! More

Great experience from beginning to end. I knew I wanted a new car. I did my initial research, and decided I wanted either a Forrester or a Mazda CX-3 or CX-5. I also researched dealers, comp I knew I wanted a new car. I did my initial research, and decided I wanted either a Forrester or a Mazda CX-3 or CX-5. I also researched dealers, compared ratings and read customer reviews. I decided on going to Colonial because of the amazing reviews on almost every site I visited and the attention I received via a phone call. Honestly, my mind was pretty made up when I got to Colonial. I was intent on getting a Forrester. But John changed all that in a matter of a couple of hours. He listened to what I wanted and what I was looking for in a vehicle. I knew he was listening because he would repeat the details I asked for during the entire process. The test drive was amazing. I never felt rushed and he insisted on pushing the vehicle to its limits. I was skeptical, like anyone would be, from the very beginning but John was friendly, relatable, and most importantly straightforward. I wasn't intimidating or afraid to ask hard questions. Even in the end, when I was stressed from a long Monday at work, it felt like a simple and fair transaction. I had a truly great experience, thanks John! More

Great car...and salesman! My daughter and I really liked the new look of the 2015 Mazda3 so we headed to Colonial for a closer look and test drive. As we entered the showroom A My daughter and I really liked the new look of the 2015 Mazda3 so we headed to Colonial for a closer look and test drive. As we entered the showroom Adam Dean's desk is situated right there as you come through the door and fortunately for us we didn't need to go past his desk. Adam quickly got us that test drive and a couple of days later we were in that Mazda3 driving home. He did the very best to get us the right deal we needed.
