Worst experience I have ever had! They totaly took advantage of me being a single women. The sales process was horrible. The sales guy was completely hung over and smelled like booze. I kept wantin advantage of me being a single women. The sales process was horrible. The sales guy was completely hung over and smelled like booze. I kept wanting to leave and they wouldn't give me my keys back. Finally wore me down after 4 hours being there. Had the car a little over a month and the car broke down 2x in one week and they want me to pay for it. The sales manager was so mean to me on the phone and I had to my father call him. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy!! More
My vehicle for the past 7 years has been a Nissan Altima. I have greatly enjoyed this vehicle, and have never had a problem. That is until my son became a licensed driver, and with his busy social schedule, I have greatly enjoyed this vehicle, and have never had a problem. That is until my son became a licensed driver, and with his busy social schedule, I began to feel like a trapped villager. Hence, time for a new car purchase! Since I enjoyed the Nissan, I decided to see what was available in a crossover type SUV. I like the look and the price of the Nissan Rogue, and after some research, I entered the MVP Nissan Dealership in Exton, PA. WOW - What a horror story!! The salesman was great, however, he was extremely limited on what his duties were (per dealership rules). I entered the dealership on a Thursday, and let the salesman know I would be purchasing a vehicle by the end of the following week. All was fine until he had to go to his boss for a number, then his boss came out, talked with me and said he had to go to his boss. I asked "How many bosses are there here?" The charade began to play out, and after 4 1/2 hours at the dealership,I was told they could not find a Rogue in Grey and that I should buy an Altima today. They did not even pick up a phone and try to find one. I was just told - no. So I left feeling like I had just wasted 1/2 a day with no results! After a little more on line research, and a friend giving great reviewson her Hyundai Sante Fe, I decided to check one out. So now, one week later on a Thursday evening I enter Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown, PA. I was immediately greeted with a smiling Jim Kraus. I made no mention of my Nissan experience, or my time frame of purchase. Jim listened to what I wanted, and what was important to me, and within several minutes I was test driving a Sante Fe. Jim did not know it at the time, but I was sold after the test drive. But, now, the dreaded lets make a deal - I was prepared for the worst!!! Let the games begin I thought. On the contrary, I was wowed at what took place: I was actually offered the best possible deal the first time, and in quick fashion. I thanked Jim, and told him I needed time to talk things over with my husband, and we would be back in touch on Saturday. We were and we made the purchase!! I love my new Sante Fe!!!! And if I may mention, although the dealership was packed, and I mean packed with customers, we felt as though we were treated like we were the only ones there. It was a pleasure to deal with a salesperson who was not only courteous and personable, but knowledgable as well. Thanks Jim I would certainly recommend Colonial Hyundai, and would highly recommend Jim Kraus to any friends or family in future. Don't loose this guy - what an asset! Thanks again. Went in for a test drive on a 2008 Toyota Rav4 on Saturday April 17. I'd been eyeing it for a while on their website, I really liked it from what I saw on the internet and was prepared to make a purc Saturday April 17. I'd been eyeing it for a while on their website, I really liked it from what I saw on the internet and was prepared to make a purchase and had secured financing through my credit union. When we got to the dealership we were promptly met by the salesman who quickly got us in and brought the vehicle out for us (me and my husband) to look at and test drive. the Vehicle was in less than stellar condition, there was also damage to the rear bumper that is not disclosed on the website. The salesman told me and my husband the reason why the veh was so dirty was due to the amount of tests drives it had gotten. After test driving the vehicle, I still liked it even in the condition it was and the damage on the rear bumper but wanted to think about it. I expressed to the salesman on NUMEROUS occasions I would like to think about it, he kept saying ok there is "No Pressure" but if I get it down to this and this and this price will you committ to buying it???? again I reiterated I wanted to think about it. He then said he will write something up and I can leave a $100 deposit, he GUARANTEED our deposit would be refunded and we had 72 hours to think about it. Trusting the guarantee of a refund, I went ahead and had him swipe my credit card for the $100 deposit, he then sent us to see his "Finance Manager" who did up the pink slip, when we looked at the slip it had more money than what was quoted by the salesman, they charge you for the air in the tires?? How do I confirm that the nitrogen air is in the tires and not regular air? As soon as we got into the Finance managers office he gave us the once over and asked if I did'nt want their financing, I told him NO since I had my own and I'm still deciding wheter I wanted the car or not, I also told him I was not comfortable signing any sales agreement, he instantly got defensive (down right rude) asking us over and over why why why??? then he called the salesman back in the office. At this point I was irritated, aggravated and wanted to swing so I decided to sign the paper and get out of there. I've been calling ever since to get my money back and I'm still waiting. I wish I had read the reviews before going to this dealership. Very very sleasy. More
Was very satisfied with my purchase. No pressure and very friendly service. I would recommend this dealership to friends. Don took the time to make sure we knew our options. The warranty was definitel very friendly service. I would recommend this dealership to friends. Don took the time to make sure we knew our options. The warranty was definitely worth the hour drive. Laine was really great, on top of things and very helpful without being pushy. I traded in a Hyundai with 180,000 miles on it - I loved my car and had great luck but it was at it's final stages. My name is Lauren. I bought a 2007 Scion tc from Colonial Hyundai on Easter weekend. When I got there, the dealership was crowded with a lot of customers, and I kept on hearing a siren inside sayin Colonial Hyundai on Easter weekend. When I got there, the dealership was crowded with a lot of customers, and I kept on hearing a siren inside saying "Congratulations on your new car!". All the cars on the lot were so clean and shiny, I didn't know where to start. I went to look at a new Sonata which was too expensive for me, so the salesman Vinnie was so helpful to find me a car that I loved and fit in my budget at the same time! It was the best experience from my salesguy to the sales manager Jimmy who even helped me with the financing options. My car is awesome and I will never buy a car anywhere else! I definitely recommend this dealership for any new or pre-owned car!!! More

We bought a used Saturn Vue on Wednesday. We found an electrical problem over the weekend they refused to fix. Pepboys, while working on it, found an exhaust leak that was leaking into the cabin. The car electrical problem over the weekend they refused to fix. Pepboys, while working on it, found an exhaust leak that was leaking into the cabin. The car that the dealership claimed passed inspection was a literal death trap. We payed almost 8,000 in cash and they didn't care. We went rounds with them. Finally after many rounds they agreed to fix it, but they couldn't. So we took are car to another automotive shop and they can do the work for less than $100. These people are either incompetent or lairs who put my 19 month old child in real danger. I was treated for monoxide poisoning the following Tuesday after we bought the car. It doesn't take much to kill a small child, and this car was probably leaking enough that repeat exposure could have killed her. Their pricing was also least than honest. They tried to make us pay more at the last minute on TTL. I told them I had only agreed to pay 7,900 for everything and only after I threatened to walk did they change their tune. These people are very shady. If you do business with them be well armed! Know what the car is worth and don't let them run your credit till you find out how much the car is. They try to jack the price up if you have bad credit. More
Went in to get a used car with less than stellar credit. I make really good money, and have little in actual bills, so my disposable income is pretty large. Anyways, as stated before (in other's comments I make really good money, and have little in actual bills, so my disposable income is pretty large. Anyways, as stated before (in other's comments here), I was told that I was approved for a loan before i came in, then they asked to have a credit check run (pretty shady, they SHOULD have already run it). We were asked to go out and look at 4-5 cars we liked, and report back which ones we would like to test drive etc... which we do (looked anyways). After this, they pulled the "good news" game and brought us to the first car (not on our list btw). I was not at all a fan of the car, but decided to test drive it anyways. At this point I decided that it was not at all what I wanted (no power, ugly interior, wasn't an odd numbered day today), but was curious on the price. I also asked what other cars we could look at, and was promptly told that aside from some sonatas, this car was what the bank had decided (BIG mistake, since i came in asking about a specific vehicle). 5 minutes later we are back at the sales person's desk arguing about the price as it is 5k over Edmunds book value (dealer price). They wanted a total of 15k with fees and everything tacked on..... not even considering the fact that i hated the look of the vehicle and wanted nothing to do with it. Not once did he ask what cars WE wanted. I finally got fed up with the games and walked out. His reaction was "What did I do?"... At this point I was no longer interested in even explaining what what went awry, I just wanted out. Moral of the story..... In my opinion, if you want to pay over book for a vehicle, this is the place for you. If you are interested in being treated like they are doing YOU a favor, this is the place for you. If you love being lied to in marketing emails, only to be told they need to run your credit when you get there, this is the dealer for you. DISCLAIMER: I may have overreacted..... It's possible that my experience would have been better if I had waited 5 minutes more, but after hearing the sales guy argue over sale price with my wife on a car I did not want...... It created an environment that I would not rather purchase a vehicle in, and enough was enough. 20% markup over book would have been acceptable (I would have at least felt better about haggling that down), but 50% was ridiculous. DOUBLE DISCLAIMER: after reading the other reviews here, I am glad I left. I've never been a fan of dealer vehicle warranties, but it sounds like (from other reviews) that theirs is especially shady. NOTE TO DEALER: I know desperate people are easy to rip off, but seriously, you have your sales process backwards..... I tell you what kind of car I want, not you. We could have haggled about price on a car that i at least felt good about... persistently asking why I do not like a vehicle is unacceptable; maybe I only like toyotas on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays of each week, does it really matter? If I do not like a vehicle, and say that, there is absolutely no reason to persist..... move on to the next one, you have plenty there. You could have had a sale, and possibly more, but the experience was just terrible. Also, when I ask your salesperson about the price, don't dodge the question and say you do not have it, of course you do. More
