Katie even decorated my SUV with balloons and bows with me being a cancer survivor! Even though I am a repeat customer, she still took the time to walk me through the features of my SUV. The nicest people; not the nicest experience My initial buying experience was fantastic. The salesperson Katie Schaffer was very pleasant to do business with and the whole buying process was comp My initial buying experience was fantastic. The salesperson Katie Schaffer was very pleasant to do business with and the whole buying process was completed in a very efficient manner. Katie was able to help me find an affordable deal and a better model than I was expecting to purchase. My problems with the dealership surfaced a week after my purchase. I received a call from their sales manager telling me that they made a mistake and that one of the rebates I got was not compatible with the 0% APR I was approved for. He told me to come in and sign a new contract that would increase my monthly rate and overall charge me over $1,000 more total. I read over my initial contract and then called back threatening to have a lawyer get involved. That did the trick and they called me back telling me that they had taken care of the "mistake". In addition to this, I checked my credit score and found six -- yes, six -- hard credit checks made on the day I purchased my vehicle. I did not give my consent for this, at most I was expecting 2-3 hard checks (one for the dealership, one for the financing company, and possibly an additional bank). I reached out to Colonial Hyundai but it's been a week and I still have not received a reply. More
