As a first time car buyer, I went to Colonial Honda of Dartmouth and worked with Robert. He patiently went through the many cars I wanted to see, got keys and a license plate, drove around- and I changed Dartmouth and worked with Robert. He patiently went through the many cars I wanted to see, got keys and a license plate, drove around- and I changed my mind twice during paperwork. He understood the position I am in and calmly worked through every question I asked. I was apprehensive about trading in my old car, and again, he patiently waited and went through everything with me. More
My husband and I would recommend this dealership because we were very impressed with our salesman, Sean Connors. Sean was very knowledgeable about the product and he was very helpful to us. Hello, I am so glad my husband found Colonial Hello, I am so glad my husband found Colonial Honda on the internet when shopping around for deals on four cylinder vehicles. We currently hav Hello, I am so glad my husband found Colonial Honda on the internet when shopping around for deals on four cylinder vehicles. We currently have 2 large luxury vehicles and needed to find a more fuel efficient vehicle. Well enough of why we were looking and more on once we found Colonial Honda - we were impressed from the start with Greg Dawson who was our initial contact. We have purchased many new vehicles over the years so we feel we know the difference between a person just trying to sell a car and a person who truly cares that we get the vehicle that will best suit our current needs. From the moment we first sat down with Greg Dawson as well as test drove a car with him we felt comfortable. I should also mention that during our meeting and test drive we had our nephew with us who is autistic and speaks only a few words which he repeated many times. Greg was wonderful with Joseph and quite understanding and considerate of his needs during the process of helping us find and purchase a new Honda Accord (A true testament to his people skills as well as business and sales skills). We will definitely recommend Greg Dawson to family and friends, actually we already have told people of the quality of service Greg provided as well as the overall feel for the way Colonial Honda does business. We have one other person who we dealt with personally who i feels needs to be commended and his name is Paul Barton. Paul Barton assisted us in the financing and paperwork involved in purchasing our new vehicle (and again i feel I need to mention that my nephew who is autistic was in the room as we finalized this transaction and at this point we obviously had been at the dealership for a period of time and Joseph my nephew was getting quite tired) however, Paul was wonderful with Joseph also. Paul made the final process a comfortable experience as well as a smooth business transaction. Our overall experience was a FIVE and believe me if it was not i would have taken this opportunity to tell. I give Greg Dawson and Paul Barton both FIVE for the service they provided us as well as the kindness they showed to My husband and I as well as our nephew Joseph. We are writing this letter as our way of expressing our overall satisfaction with Greg Dawson, Paul Barton and Colonial Honda of Dartmouth. We had an excellent experience and will be sure to recommend their services to others. Thank You for taking the time to read this letter as I know it may be longer than most but I hope it expresses how pleased we are with Colonial Honda and their choice of staff and sales people. Sincerely, Brian & Tammy Caravana 774-264-0586 (P.S.) Oh let me not forget to mention we LOVE our new Honda Accord. More

Buying a car is not easy. But Joe Zekus provided me with lots of information and gave me time to consider the many options available. I am very satisfied with the support I received and the car I drove away lots of information and gave me time to consider the many options available. I am very satisfied with the support I received and the car I drove away with. Paul Barton, the financial person, was also very helpful and made that aspect of the purchase effortless. Joe Almeida, manager, stepped in at one point and went the extra mile in helping me through a glitch that was generated at my end. Everyone I interacted with was lovely. People couldn't have been nicer. I recommend all three of these people and their organization. More
My wife and I looked at a minivan at Colonial last year and were impressed with the salesperson we worked with. He didn't pressure us to buy when we weren't ready and didn't try to push us to buy a more expensive model than we were interested in. We didn't end up buying the minivan, but I returned to Colonial a few weeks ago to buy a new Honda Fit. I worked with a different sales person this time, but found the experience similar. George didn't try to pressure me into the sale or into a more expensive model than I wanted. When we were signing the paperwork, they told me about all the extras, like the extended warranty and Scotchguard, but they didn't pressure me when I didn't want them. The price on the car was good and they gave me more than double what my trade in was worth. When I picked up the car I was very disappointed to find that it didn't come with car mats. George chased me out to the car as I was leaving and told me he had talked to the manager and arranged for me to get the car mats thrown in. I'm very happy with the experiences I've had with Colonial. More

My visit to Colonial Honda was a very pleasant experience. One thing I have learned in my years in business is that not all customers are the same. I beleive John Weidenfeller "gets it". Reason on experience. One thing I have learned in my years in business is that not all customers are the same. I beleive John Weidenfeller "gets it". Reason one was that John took the time to "listen" to my story which in turn he understood my situation and my needs. He was very helpful offering solutions for my questions and also offered alternatives. I felt a level of comfort and trust which is important to me. Colonial Honda should be greatful they have a employee like John. This also extends to the rest of the staff involved with the transaction including sales manager Brian Almeida, the finance department and the service department when I got my sticker. All were friendly and accomidating!! More

We went to purchase our used honda odyssey on Sat 2/26/11. The experience leading up to the actual signing and purchasing of the vehicle was great. John W was helpful and answered all of our questions. However, the "wheels fell off" so to speak after we signed. We returned to the dealership 1.5 hours later, as we were instructed, to pick up our vehicle. It was another 3 hours before we left with the vehicle, despite the fact that we were told it would be ready when we got there. The finance manager seemed inept. He did not know that we were financing the vehicle through our bank and not the dealership, then told us incorrectly that there was only one form he had to fax out to the insurance company. We gave him copies of what information was needed and who needed it and he told us he would "take care of it all." It was another hour before we were able to get into our vehicle. Despite the fact that we paid additional for "Certified" we did not have mats in the vehicle, and we were unable to use the radio because it needed a code that we were not aware of. I called our bank and insurance company on the next business day and was told that no information had been submitted. I received a message on our home phone asking when we were bringing the check in so that they could process the registration - an impossible feat as the dealership had yet to get any information to the bank. It took a full 4 days for the correct information to get where it needed to. In the meantime I also received a call from the Brian the sales manager looking for the check as well. He was rude, condescending and insulting. His tone was that of an adult talking to a rude child. It was not appreciated. If we weren't so far along in the process at that point I would have walked in and given him his keys back and taken back our trade in. Once we were able to give the check it took until I made a phone call on Monday 3/7/11 for them to inform us that they had the registration and the second key. When I returned that day to pick up the key and registration I was told that the wait for them to program the key and give me a sticker, as is commonplace when you buy a vehicle, would take more than 1 hour. I was then told to "call back before you are coming in so that we can tell you how long the wait time will be." Are you kidding me? After all that we had been through with this vehicle I expected that they would bend over backwards to complete their obligations. They did not. When my husband could finally return for the sticker, about 2 weeks after the original sale, he still had to wait an hour. My husband and I were hugely inconvenienced throughout this entire process, we both work full time jobs and have 2 children. I alone spent several hours calling the bank, insurance company and dealership to track down where the problems were. I do not feel that we had adequate service, or that anyone followed through completely with their tasks. In the end they got their money and that is all that they wanted. Well, speaking for my husband and myself, not only will we never purchase another vehicle at this dealership, we want recommend it to anyone else either. We also will not be using this dealership to service our vehicle. More
