After visiting with other Honda dealerships closer to my home, I will say that Colonial Honda was the best. I also received a price on a new Honda that could not be touched by any other dealer. I had a super experience with Greg Dawson and Colonial Honda of Dartmouth, MA. I found them through a buying service with my bank and their price looked right. I checked with my local Honda dealer and three other Honda dealers in the state and although they all had comparable vehicles (2010 Fit), none of them could come close to beating Colonial Honda’s price. Colonial even gave me a price guarantee…vowing to beat anyone’s price by at least $300. Several other dealers were convinced Colonial was hiding some additional cost, but the price was the price, so I went with Colonial. Greg Dawson was fantastic. The car was a surprise for my daughter’s 21st birthday and as such, the arrangements were difficult to do in order to keep it a secret. Greg was great about the whole thing. I made numerous phone calls to Greg and most at odd hours and often of a cryptic nature in order to prevent my daughter from learning of the surprise. Several times I made multiple calls in one day. He displayed grace and understanding each time. Then there was the delivery. This was key to the surprise, but winter in New England brings its own surprises: a winter storm. Wanting to ensure we had the car for the big day, Greg responded to my anxious phone call and scrambled to arrange delivery. The car arrived looking like it just rolled-off the showroom floor (and had not been driven 80 miles from Massachusetts to Connecticut). My daughter was blown away….as blown away as I was at the fantastic service from Greg and the entire Colonial Honda team. A fantastic price, great service, a superb product (my fifth Honda)....Colonial Honda of Dartmouth has it all. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends who are in the market for a new car! More

I had the best experience that I have ever had buying a new car. It was low pressure and there was no haggling. I had been at Herb Chambers Honda the night before and had a horrendous experience between waiting a week for the Finance dept to submit my application, to the price of the vehicle that I wanted to purchase and the offer for my trade. The minute I got to Colonial Honda John greeted me at the door, as I had called him in advance. I got an excellent price of $1,000 less on the purchase car and $600 more for my trade. Herb Chambers had a leftover 2010 for more money. There was no haggling. They wanted to sell cars unlike the Sales Mgr Bill at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston. Ben in finance made the transaction a breeze. He had me financed the next morning and my credit is not that great,as I was just recovering credit wise from a Chapter 7 in March 2010. The whole process of the transaction of pricing and trade took only 40 minutes, as this time also included an extensive test drive. I would shop here first before going to any other Honda dealer and especially Herb Chambers in Boston. I can't say enough about these guys! More
