We purchased a brand new accord 2011 from colonial honda of dartmouth. my test drive experience and purchasing experience was not bad. However, at the time of purchase, i paid a deposit fee which was suppos of dartmouth. my test drive experience and purchasing experience was not bad. However, at the time of purchase, i paid a deposit fee which was supposed to be a refundable fee and also i was told to overpay for registration/title fees. I was told by Greg & Kevin that i would get a refund immediately after registration for the registration/title fee that i overpaid. I have been contacting them for 2 months now and i was only refunded the deposit fee that i paid that too after a 1 month wait. Everytime i contact them for the status of the refund, they just keep telling that there is a problem with the paper work etc and they fixed it. Also, they keep telling that the upper management will look into it. I dont know if an upper management exists because no one has contacted me yet. Its become a routine everytime i call them or email them. I will continue to post my experience here till my issue is resolved. Its been 50 days and still no refund :(. if you are thinking about putting a deposit on a car or overpaying for registration/title think twice bcos you might end up like us. -Sanjay- More

Rob was awesome to deal with no pressure and no matter how many times I changed my mind it seemed like he didn't care. This was our second car in 14 months and i feel Rob definately gave us a better buyin how many times I changed my mind it seemed like he didn't care. This was our second car in 14 months and i feel Rob definately gave us a better buying experience. He also returned calls and kept me up to date on everything that was going on. I could of haggled for a better price or some kind of upgraed but I felt Rob was treating me fairly so there was no reason to. Absolutely outstanding! Greg Dawson set the standard for outstanding customer service. As the rep in charge of fleet sales Greg contacted us almost immediately after we had initiated a search via the USAA B outstanding customer service. Greg was friendly, efficient, professional and supportive from his initial email contact through his discussion with my family and I as we took possession of our new Odyssey. In this challenging economy I can only imagine the competition that exists within the new car sales industry. I have to say that I had several comparable vans to choose while researching a new van for my family. While we were leaning towards the Sienna, we did not find anywhere near the customer service that we received from Greg Dawson. It was his effort and his sincere support of this deal that made us decide to go with the Odyssey and with Colonial Honda in particular. You have a very happy customer here who will gladly refer other military members to Colonial Honda. I was in search of a used car after Ford condemened my van after a recall on the front end rust situation & I found the 2004 Honda Extreme on line and just liked the look. I called and explaned my situation about not getting any money from Ford for up to 6 weeks and was told about the plan that I could give something down and then re-financing again when I got my money from Ford. I thought that was an excellent idea and every one was very helpfull in all the paper work and the experiance was great. Every one was very helpfull and nice and I thank all of you for a great sales experiance. Buying a used are is so hard for someone like myself that works 50 to 60 hours a week so the fact that you were so accomidating with picking me up at my home for a test drive and then the registration and all the other paper work was wonderful. I can't thank you guys enough. I do hope that I won't have to purchase another car for some time but if I have any reason to I will definetly come to you. Thank you again Constance E. Shidler More

Greg Dawson was terrific. I would have rated Customer Service a 5 based on his performance and likewise for Overall Experience. Because we were traveling quite a distance to purchase the car, Greg had done everything possible via e-mail communication to make the pick-up easy and efficient. However, when it came to the paperwork with the financial guy, I hit a snag. It took me hours to get through that process. He was totally unprepared. Meanwhile I had my volunteer transportation waiting. It was frustrating and poor Greg was doing his best to help. Based on my experience with the financial person, I lowered my rating to 4 on the two above categories. More

My disappointment with this dealership is the lack of negotiating. I was under the impression before I went in that no reasonable offer was refused. I offered 16,000 on a vehicle the was priced 16,998 an negotiating. I was under the impression before I went in that no reasonable offer was refused. I offered 16,000 on a vehicle the was priced 16,998 and was told this was a blow out sale and therefore the price was nonnegotiable. I wish I had known this before I went in. Unfortunately I am on a budget and could not afford to purchase the vehicle. Next time I go in I'll be more prepared. More
