Good afternoon, I feel bad we were not able to meet your price on a New Honda. This rarely happens here at Colonial.. we have found we are usually very competitive in our pricing. I cannot justify exactly the reasoning behind Mr. Almeida's statements, except perhaps he could not believe another dealer was willing to sell their vehicle at such a low price. Again, we rarely miss a deal when it comes to price. I can only apologize for not being able to lower our price enough to earn your business. If there is anything I can do to ever help you with your Honda, or if you would like to service your vehicle locally, feel free to drop me a line. I try very hard to make every experience here at Colonial a positive one. And when we make a mistake, I want to make sure we learn from it, so we can improve and not make the same mistake again. Customer service is truly our top priority. Sincerely, Nick Surdis General Manager Colonial Honda

Mr. Zukowski, Thanks for taking the time to contact us. Regarding the Duplicate Title processs. You are 100% correct that you can get a duplicate title from the RMV for $25. However, the actually process is not as simple as the RMV often makes it to be. In order to get a duplicate title, you would need to pay the $25 to the RMV, plus provide *an original* lien release if the vehicle was *ever* financed. After this is complete, its is rarely received in 5-7 days. More often it takes 30 days+. We apologize for delaying your new car registration, but unfortunately we cannot sell your trade-in until we have title. This may not seem like a large matter, but when you multiply this by the number of people who lose their titles, we can easily end up with 50-60 vehicles, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, that we cannot sell. The reason we charge $150 is for the amount of legwork involved with getting the title, plus the delay in be able to sell the vehicle. Many hours of human time are often consumed chasing lien releases from old lenders, who may or may not be now defunct, bought out, etc. etc. Please understand the $150 is not an attempt on our part to make additional profit. In most cases, by the time the title is received, we have invested well over $150 in man-hours to get it. I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and whatever I can do to help speed the process I would gladly do. Sincerely yours, Nick Surdis General Manager Colonial Honda
