The Manager, upon hearing that I hadn't eaten lunch (and it was 3:30) paid for lunch for me and my boyfriend across the street, to make the wait more pleasant. The fact that my feelings, my time, and my frustration were important to Greg, and to the Manager, is why I am giving all 5's even though I had to wait a long time. More

I can honestly say that I had the best experience purchasing my new vehicle at Colonial Honda. When I entered the dealership I was not attacked as if I was fresh bait as I have been at other dealers purchasing my new vehicle at Colonial Honda. He earned my trust - was completely up front, no hidden agenda, no expected cardealer shenanigans - someone who understands business and customer service. I was very pleasantly surprised - seemed too good to be true. But it is true - I have my car and couldn't be happier with the deal! John understood my needs and limitations and did his best to work out a plan that would accommodate them. He worked with my schedule and delivered the car when I had hoped to get it - as early as possible! He even stayed late so I could get it. I am a long time local resident, have many contacts, and will go with a dealership I can trust in the future. Ben Fasano, the financial manager played no games with me, was to the point, and completely straightforward - kept the process timely, concise, and easy. I kept waiting for hidden fees and new tricks to suddenly appear, and none of that happened. Like most people, I was cautious and prepared for the worst and very limited in finances - but these men were professional, dignified, and focused on good business and potential business - not taking advantage of people. I discovered Colonial Honda of Dartmouth through my bank's car buying service. At first, I had no intention of making the one-hour drive from Boston to Dartmouth, but after one conversation with Greg bank's car buying service. At first, I had no intention of making the one-hour drive from Boston to Dartmouth, but after one conversation with Greg Dawson, two things became clear: 1) I would not find better, friendlier service at any other dealer. 2) I would not find a better price at any other dealer. Greg was pleasant on the phone, and easy to deal with. He's knowledgeable, he's efficient, and he made the whole process as smooth as it can possibly be. We agreed on a deal and I needed to make only one trip down to Dartmouth to sign all the paperwork! Best of all, it took less than one hour to sign all the paperwork and secure the loan! Compare to: my mother recently purchased a Honda from another dealer and it took nearly 3 hours to wade through it all! Even on his day off, Greg was working his tail off to arrange for the registration of our new Honda Odyssey as well as ensuring that it would be DELIVERED to me in Boston as quickly as possible. I have been looking for a Black 2011 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe. I went to a dealership this morning in Norwood that gave me a great price but lowballed me on my trade. I went home and looked up Colonial Honda's inventory and they had what I wanted. I e-mailed them and Kristen gave me a competitive price quote. I was introduced to Brian Mota who took me for a test drive and I told him what I wanted. He proceeded to get me the price that I requested, and a trade-in price that I could live with. This took about 10 minutes. I had to wait a little while for Ben in Finance , but he got me the financing I was looking for. A very good dealership who is not looking to get over on the customer. Very refreshing. The dealership is about 40 miles from my home, but it was worth the drive. My thanks to Kristen, Brian and Ben. More

I had a super experience with Greg Dawson and Colonial Honda of Dartmouth, MA. I found them through a buying service with my bank and their price looked right. I checked with my local Honda dealer and three other Honda dealers in the state and although they all had comparable vehicles (2010 Fit), none of them could come close to beating Colonial Honda’s price. Colonial even gave me a price guarantee…vowing to beat anyone’s price by at least $300. Several other dealers were convinced Colonial was hiding some additional cost, but the price was the price, so I went with Colonial. Greg Dawson was fantastic. The car was a surprise for my daughter’s 21st birthday and as such, the arrangements were difficult to do in order to keep it a secret. Greg was great about the whole thing. I made numerous phone calls to Greg and most at odd hours and often of a cryptic nature in order to prevent my daughter from learning of the surprise. Several times I made multiple calls in one day. He displayed grace and understanding each time. Then there was the delivery. This was key to the surprise, but winter in New England brings its own surprises: a winter storm. Wanting to ensure we had the car for the big day, Greg responded to my anxious phone call and scrambled to arrange delivery. The car arrived looking like it just rolled-off the showroom floor (and had not been driven 80 miles from Massachusetts to Connecticut). My daughter was blown away….as blown away as I was at the fantastic service from Greg and the entire Colonial Honda team. A fantastic price, great service, a superb product (my fifth Honda)....Colonial Honda of Dartmouth has it all. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends who are in the market for a new car! More
