Had a great experience with their service dept. Prompt & friendly. However, as stated on other reviews, we did get the "run around" during the purchase of our new Honda (which took us about 4 months). & friendly. Moral of my story one might ask? ... their service dept. has it's strong points, but, stick to your guns when it comes to purchasing a vehicle from these guys. My husband and I flew to Rhode Island for a few days with the sole purpose of buying his 84-year old mother a car. After doing much research we drove to your dealership. We test drove several Honda Accords the sole purpose of buying his 84-year old mother a car. After doing much research we drove to your dealership. We test drove several Honda Accords with Barry, who was very nice and helpful. After we finished the test drive we were ready to buy a Honda Accord SE from Barry until Greg came over to negotiate the deal. We tried repeatedly to make several fair offers for the car, but were told rudely that our offers we not acceptable. He never offered a counter offer and then just got up and left Barry's office, leaving us all sitting there awkwardly looking at each other. He never said good-bye, or anything, just got up and walked away. So we got up, thanked Barry for his time, and left without buying the car. The following day we bought a VW Passat from Balise Nissan, who were professional and a delight to deal with. Having bought many cars before, I have NEVER, experienced anything like this. It was the worst and most bizarre car-buying experience we have ever had. I have told many people already of this experience and will continue to tell potential customers not to buy a car from your dealership. Regards, Mary Sullivan. More

I was allowed at Colonial to test drive the Honda Accord for a long time. While waiting in the car, another sales rep Arthur came out and introduced himself, and showed me many features inside the car! These guys work as a team, no cut throat sales people. I have a 2010 crv to trade next. I will definitely do business again with Colonial Honda! The sales guys are class acts, the financial part was painless, fast and pleasant! I saw the comercial for a "great deal"! 1st they do not tell you it is to lease, next I emailed to clarify, then I was given a great quote on line and told to look at the inventory. They had 7 of the vehicles I requested to look at (on line) 5 in the color I liked. I let them know i would be there in a little while, I showed up with my 5 yo, 11yo and husband to take a family test drive. They left us out in the rain while they tried to look for the one actual vehicle on the lot (where they said they had 7 with my specifics) they never found that vehicle and I had to test drive one that did not have what I wanted and the only color I could not live with. If I said I was coming in why did they not have the or "a" car I actually wanted ready to go. Thanks for nothing ashley! Then for the 2013 honda pilot (no navigation) they were going to charge me 490.00 per month, I could get a Buick Anclave for that price (it is rated #1). I have a chevy travers rated number 2 on edmond and consumer list. The pilot is rated number 16, it's ride was bumpy, steering needed fine tuning (wabbling all over the place) it had little head room and less room in the back compaired to the travers and it's shaped like a 1975 van. Not that impressed and p/o'd that I spent 2 hours for nothing in the rain when I asked for specifics and gave specifics of what I wanted they lied to get me in there and wasted my time. The sales man could not even tell me what they were going to give me for my trade in. Came over with this outrageous price and when we asked he could not answer what the trade in amount was. I was excited to have a great sales experience given the previous reviews I read on line, ?????? do you print the bad reviews, I'm thinking no! More
I went to Colonial Honda for service but was considering buying a new Insight. She gave me a price on my Honda pilot I then told her I would call her back after I spoke to silko she asked me for my name and number which is janet and I told her not to call me.. 3 hrs later I called back and stated to her I wanted to the deal at a certain number.she said great let me check with my manager Sean see what I can do for you. She placed me on a brief hold and said great news I can do that today.. I said I be there in an hr which I was.. I was greeted by a salesperson Charles who went and got Tanya he took over the sale and Sean gave me the number he said he was and Charlie went above and beyond for me. Along with kevin ward who answered every question I had and awesome attitude.. I will recommend this dealership to everyone.. Sorry it took me so long to get the review it all started with that friendly hello from tanya on the phone.. More
Arthur met us in the car lot on his day off, as he was picking something up. He asked if he could help us with anything and we told him we were just looking. We told him we were mostly interested in the Accord and he told us where to look after getting us a Honda Accord book and giving us his card. He was very helpful, yet not too pushy or overbearing! He showed us the new Accord Sport and told us to call him to set up an appointment if we saw anything that interested us. His polite and friendly nature led us to call him in a few days. We set up an appointment and after taking the car for a ride, we sat down to a very lengthy visit with Arthur. He worked with us tirelessly trying to get us a price that we could afford for the new Accord Sport. He said he would do all he could, and that we would shake hands at the end of our negotiations one way or another. He did get us a great deal on the new car, and the deal was finalized at around 7 P.M. after getting to the dealership at around 2 P.M. We picked up the car a few days later and he sat with us in the car showing us how to use all of the instruments. He also called us twice, missing us the first time, to find out how we were enjoying the car. He was simply the nicest car salesman I had ever dealt with. I certainly will be revisiting Colonial Honda the next time we are in the market for a new car. More
