Very satisfactory resolution to my problem I previously submitted a review proclaiming my dissatisfaction with this dealership. After speaking with the General Manager, Mr. Fred Vinagre, I was completely satisfied with his resolution of my problem. It was unfortunate that it had to go that far. However, he listened attentively and offered a generous compensation package to make amends and assured me that those responsible would be held accountable. This is the kind of professionalism that should have been displayed by several of his subordinates. More

My go to dealer This is my second lease with Honda in Dartmouth. My first lease was a 2017 CRV. I went back to get another CRV but my husband and I fell in love with This is my second lease with Honda in Dartmouth. My first lease was a 2017 CRV. I went back to get another CRV but my husband and I fell in love with the Accord with red interior. I’m in love with it. I spoke with Miguel who helped me with all the paperwork while I was at work. Courtney was very patient with us since I originally wanted another CRV, she took the time to go get the color I wanted and all, we picked the color and went into the showroom to wait for Courtney, that’s when we saw the Accord. She was very helpful, didn’t give us an attitude for the trouble at all, we got to test drive the Accord. I’m really happy with their service. More

MY CREDIT PULLED WITHOUT PERMISSION In March of 2018, my husband and I visited Colonial Honda of Dartmouth. We purchased a vehicle from them during that visit with no issues. However, on In March of 2018, my husband and I visited Colonial Honda of Dartmouth. We purchased a vehicle from them during that visit with no issues. However, on March 8, 2019 I received an email stating that my credit had been run multiple times. I checked into it further, knowing I had not applied for ANY type of loan/credit etc. I found that Colonial Honda of Dartmouth was the reason my credit had been run 9 times, without my permission for a woman who needed a car loan!! When we purchased our vehicle the year before we DID NOT take out a loan with them. Upon finding this out, I called the dealership to try and rectify this issue. I was transferred immediately to a manager who assured me that he would try everything to fix this. He called me back after a few days to update me on the situation. He asked if we could come by the dealership to speak in person with him and the general manager. The manager we met with first (and who continued to work with us) was very kind and remorseful regarding this entire situation. However, the general manager did not seem bothered by this at all. At one point, he tried blowing it off as if it wasn’t a large mistake that was made, stating “These things happen all the time”. My husband and I explained to him how my credit score took an 80 point hit because of their mistake. I was reassured that they could fix it, and it would just take some paperwork on their end, and that within a few weeks it would be cleared up. Weeks continued to pass, I would contact the general manager and he wouldn’t even respond to me, and then I would hear from the sales manager instead. On May 20th, I received a letter from the credit company that they use to run credit checks for loans for their customers, stating that due to THEIR mistake, my credit score would reflect the inquiries for 2 YEARS! That same day, the sales manager sent me a copy of a letter they received from the same company. Their letter clearly states the severity of the mistake that was made and asks that all of their employees be made aware. It goes further to state that when the dealership signed the contract with this credit company, that both would comply with all “federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations…”, where in this case they did not! I have since asked them to please remove all of my information from their system to avoid any possibility of further issues. After doing so, I received both an email and a phone call regarding another person's vehicle, assuming the person for whom they initially ran the credit scan for using my information. I reached out to the general manager, because once again, they didn’t follow through with what they had promised. He was rude and very passive, not seeming to care at all with the issues that I faced with the dealership. When I reached out again to both the general manager and the sales manager, only the sales manager responded. The sales manager reached out days later to apologize again for everything, but the general manager still said nothing and to this day nothing has changed. More
