Service Issues First off I would like to say that the customer service absolutely sucks, there is no reason that it should take over 10 minutes to get recognized tha First off I would like to say that the customer service absolutely sucks, there is no reason that it should take over 10 minutes to get recognized that someone is standing there when there are other employees standing around leaning against a wall. Never mind the fact that I have waited in the service department and there for no one to be found anywhere for over 10 minutes. I have brought a car there multiple time in a row and the same problem still exists. Not happy with the way things have been handled, I don't believe things have been handled in a professional way at all. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

I also requested warranty service for a cargo shade on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The handle was cracked, the service advisor Mike Fredette examined the handle and confered with the service manager. The result was that they agreed to replace the shade at no expense to me. So, I am very satisfied with Colonial. Also I spoke with Mike Ballos and he was friendly and helpful, the same as he was almost 2yrs. prior when I bought my vehicle. My only concern is of my making, I travel from Western Mass. to this dealership, I wish they were closer. Paul Harvey More
I can only relate to the uncomprising fantastic experience that I experienced last week. Dan was professional understanding and extremely helpful in the minor issue that I had. Marty was great in the way he took care of my Grand Cherokee. The price came in exactly with what Dan quoted me and was done quickly, efficiently and professionally. Relating to the recent service that I had on my Jeep Grand Cherokee I can only say go there!! I had a great experience with Dan Burke in the service dept but above all with CHRIS FARIA who sold me my v Grand Cherokee I can only say go there!! I had a great experience with Dan Burke in the service dept but above all with CHRIS FARIA who sold me my vehicle in May. He greeted me by name and went above and beyond to solve a minor issue in setting up the uconnect in my vehicle for me. Chris is one of a kind and I cannot think of another "salesman" taking the extraordinary time from just phone calls and reminders to see how the vehicle is working out.. Service Department is terrible! 6 mo old Ram 1500, I bought there. Brought it in for an oil change and fix some minor issues, alignment as it has not been right since the vehicle was purchased, driver bought there. Brought it in for an oil change and fix some minor issues, alignment as it has not been right since the vehicle was purchased, driver seat moves when driving, along with some recalls that had to be addressed. First round the computers were down, so recalls could to be addressed, alignment was done....incorrectly use to pull to the left and now pulls to the right and centering of steering wheel is off. I had to pay for a rental for this day while it was being worked on... They never addressed the seat. Second round a month later...since they never called back as they promised they would to follow up on rescheduling the remainder of the work. Additional issues, under hood bulb out and wiper washer weak. Alignment done incorrectly... again still not right. Seat issues they said is "no different than any other dodge seat" and they wanted to charge me for the bulb under the hood because the truck had over 12K mi on it...I paid extra $$ for bumper to bumper coverage to 6 yr 100000mi. I will never enter this service department again! Rude service people and very poor technical skills. Two thumbs down! More
I have had numerous bad experiences with the service department. The service manager and general manager have both very unhelpful in trying to fix the issues and keep me as a customer. I initially gave a bad review, but was soon contacted by Chris Gourley, the general manager. From our conversation, I gathered that the customer service at Colonial has greatly improved since my last visit & I am planning to give the dealership another chance to service my Jeep. I was mostly impressed that he took the time to call me personally after seeing my review & apologized for the past mistakes. His call has shown me that he, as the general manager, really does care about their customers & I sincerely appreciate the time he took to speak with me. More
I came in to pick up my 2009 Journey which was having brake work done and Jay saw me and mentioned that he would like to see me with a better running vehicle because he had heard of all the trouble I was brake work done and Jay saw me and mentioned that he would like to see me with a better running vehicle because he had heard of all the trouble I was having with my 2009. I said I would listen and he got Eddie to talk to be about a new car and they did such a good job that I bought a new 2012 and it was another Journey and I am happy to have gotten that vehicle. Owner of a new 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, needed new front brakes. I brought my Jeep to colonial and the dealer installed a pair of Wagner break pads. After having the pads installed and driving the vehicle brakes. I brought my Jeep to colonial and the dealer installed a pair of Wagner break pads. After having the pads installed and driving the vehicle I noticed squeaking and rattling. I returned to the dealer and spoke to Brett and him and I took the car for a test drive. Brett heard the noise and said he would inspect the brakes. Brett took the time to remove the front pads and reinstall them. He also did a front end check to make sure everything checked out. Third time around the brakes were still rattling and squeaking. i called Brett and said I think the pads are defective. Brett without hesitation said bring the car back and we will simply switch out the pads. I purchased a new pair of pads and brought the car back to Brett. In the same day Brett removed the previous pads and installed the new ones. The squeaking and rattling has vanished and I am one happy camper!!! Moral of the story, Brett not only installed a pair of after market pads once, twice but three times! Brett didn't charge me extra, he was patient and was only concerned with getting it right. The fact of the matter was I was expecting aftermarket pads to fit light factory ones which I was advised aftermarket does'nt. The rattling and squeaking was the outcome of defective pads and their aftermarket status. Brett, you and your service team did me right and I thank you for that. My breaks work great, just like the day I bought the car. This is why I drive 45 miles to Colonial Vs I could drive 3 miles to Cental. I will continue to drive the extra miles for a quality of service you can olny find at Colonial Chrysler Jeep Dodge!! Thanks again Brett and Colonial Service team!! More
I have to say that my purchase this evening was totally by surprise.... Over the weekend, I called the Colonial Jeep (where I bought my first Jeep Liberty) and spoke with Jay Bhatty. I told him that twice by surprise.... Over the weekend, I called the Colonial Jeep (where I bought my first Jeep Liberty) and spoke with Jay Bhatty. I told him that twice my car would not start over the weekend and needed service... He promptly told me to drop it off and he would have the service team take a look at it Monday. I dropped my car off and spoke with a nice gentleman (not sure of his name), but I gave the key to him and spoke with him about might be wrong -- again, this guy was very personable and polite. Anyway, Monday came and I got a call that they had replaced the battery and changed the oil and I could pick it up in the afternoon. I went to pick up my car and Jay Bhatty greeted me and asked if I wanted to swap out and get into something new... I told him only if it were a lower payment and a nicer car. Well... while Jay worked his numbers, I left for my office in a 2012 vehicle (3 years newer than my previous car and the same make, but upgraded model)... I called my mum and asked her to meet me at my office and check out the leg room in the back seat ( I often times take my parents on appointments and one of them always ends up in the back and has trouble getting in (they are senior citizens) -- well, with the 2012 version she has no trouble getting into the car and felt very comfortable, which meant my business clients would feel comfortable and wouldn't have a hard time... (both counts are huge for me -- 1, that my parents could fit better an 2. My clients would fit in the vehicle better).... Anyway, Eddie Bhatty (who was my previous sales person) sat with me and worked to find me one last buyers incentive --which he found that I was eligible for. It made a nice difference for me. When I got up this morning, i had no idea that a new jeep would be in my future today... Thank you for the great customer service! They are going to meet me at my office tomorrow and pick up the car, get it washed, detailed, gassed up and a sticker -- along with going to my insurance company and handling the plate transfer. Thank you to the Colonial Jeep Team -- great job guys!! More
