Colonial is the best dealership group I have ever worked with. I have purchased a total of 5 vehicles from the colonial group (2) Mazda RX8s (2) Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds and most recently a 2010 Dodge Gran with. I have purchased a total of 5 vehicles from the colonial group (2) Mazda RX8s (2) Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds and most recently a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan for work. My first dealings with Colonial Jeep was based on price and inventory. I did the complete research online and decided they had the vehicle I wanted. When I showed them the sales sheet for the competing dealer, they were already lower on the price but they matched the processing fees from the competition. This was the start of a lasting relationship with Shane in sales and Jay in the finance department. About 6 months later I liked that Jeep so much I wanted another one so the family would now not have to fight over which car to take. I made a call to Shane and he searched the inventory until he found the vehicle I described. Jay had all the paperwork ready for me to make the transaction as quick as possible when I arrived at the dealership at 8:55pm to finalize the deal. Lastly, when it came time for my company to purchase a new van, there was no reason to shop at this point. I called Shane, he listened to me and brought a van that matched my requirements to my office and the vehicle was purchased without stepping into the dealership. Jay worked with my business manager to close the deal and we are having the new van delivered next week! Although, it took me several vehicles to get to this level of trust, I am truly fortunate to have found a dealership group that gives the service and attention to detail comparable to the experiences of yesteryear. I can't say enough about how great this dealership is! Eddie Got me exactly the car I wanted and Jay was able to set me up with the financing that worked for me! Chris worked very quickly at getting the best price for my trade in. Tony did a great job at getting the paperwork, financing and registration completed in a quick amount of time. I didn't spend a lot of time in the dealership working on this sale - which I really appreciate - since I have in the past spent to much time at other dealerships. This is the third vechile I have purchased from this dealership and I have been very pleased with the staff and the vehicle. Stopped by to look for a used Jeep Wrangler. Found the place to be a little pricey, but often times you find that when buying a vehicle from its own dealership. Told the sales person my finance price I co place to be a little pricey, but often times you find that when buying a vehicle from its own dealership. Told the sales person my finance price I could afford, and after working the numbers a little, we decided it was out of my range, but they'd call me if something else came up. This was fine, no problems. About a week later, I was called by the same sales person who said he had spoke to his GM, and that they could work it out, within my price range, and to come in that night. I told him (it’s now 4:15), that I had found a Jeep elsewhere, and was supposed to pick it up that night. He assured me everything was fine and to come in right then, they were ready for me. I ended up leaving the dealership at nearly 8:00 PM that night because not only did I sit and wait for the dealer to actually show up to the dealership for 20 minutes, but he double booked himself! I waited while he switched back and forth between clients. (Remember, HE called ME!) When I finally made it into the financing manager, he was rude, impersonal, and socially awkward. He had me sign paperwork, right then, assuring me everything would be fine. When I asked questions about the paperwork…he LITERALLY rolled his eyes…I had to remind him that I was the person buying the vehicle, not the one who was trained on the paperwork. He told me to come back the next day to get the Jeep. The following day I had to call them twice, to check the status, never being connected to the finance guy. I kept getting the answer, “he’s on the phone with the bank right now”. When I called again that night, I was told by the sales guy to come in right now, that everything was all set. And guess what?!?! IT WASN’T! Not only did I wait forever, but I was told, oh, tomorrow….once again. I said no, I’ll just go to the other place. Then the financing manager told me the rate…the SAME EXACT RATE they had proposed a week earlier that I had declined!!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! So overall moral of the story? They never came down on their price, they never worked for me, they never talked about it or worked on anything. It was a giant waste of time, a huge lie, and a serious lack of communication between employees. More

I went back and forth between two dealers and finally got a can't be beat, bottom line, once in a lifetime price on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Several hours later, I talked with Chris Farias at Colonial Dodge/Jeep in Hudson. Guess what, he beat that previous price by more than $1,500.00! In the entire time that I dealt with Chris Farias and the other employees at COLONIAL OF HUDSON, not once was I pressured or BS'd in any way, shape or form. I've been buying cars since 1991 and COLONIAL OF HUDSON is the only dealership where I didn't get skeeved out while working with the salespeople. If you want a Jeep, and you know you do, talk to Chris Farias at COLONIAL OF HUDSON and not only will you get an unbeatable price, your outlook on buying vehicles could very well change for the better.
