Chris worked very quickly at getting the best price for my trade in. Tony did a great job at getting the paperwork, financing and registration completed in a quick amount of time. I didn't spend a lo my trade in. Tony did a great job at getting the paperwork, financing and registration completed in a quick amount of time. I didn't spend a lot of time in the dealership working on this sale - which I really appreciate - since I have in the past spent to much time at other dealerships. This is the third vechile I have purchased from this dealership and I have been very pleased with the staff and the vehicle. I am sure my next car will also come from this dealership and hopefully with the help of both Chris and Tony. More
Stopped by to look for a used Jeep Wrangler. Found the place to be a little pricey, but often times you find that when buying a vehicle from its own dealership. Told the sales person my finance price I co place to be a little pricey, but often times you find that when buying a vehicle from its own dealership. Told the sales person my finance price I could afford, and after working the numbers a little, we decided it was out of my range, but they'd call me if something else came up. This was fine, no problems. About a week later, I was called by the same sales person who said he had spoke to his GM, and that they could work it out, within my price range, and to come in that night. I told him (it’s now 4:15), that I had found a Jeep elsewhere, and was supposed to pick it up that night. He assured me everything was fine and to come in right then, they were ready for me. I ended up leaving the dealership at nearly 8:00 PM that night because not only did I sit and wait for the dealer to actually show up to the dealership for 20 minutes, but he double booked himself! I waited while he switched back and forth between clients. (Remember, HE called ME!) When I finally made it into the financing manager, he was rude, impersonal, and socially awkward. He had me sign paperwork, right then, assuring me everything would be fine. When I asked questions about the paperwork…he LITERALLY rolled his eyes…I had to remind him that I was the person buying the vehicle, not the one who was trained on the paperwork. He told me to come back the next day to get the Jeep. The following day I had to call them twice, to check the status, never being connected to the finance guy. I kept getting the answer, “he’s on the phone with the bank right now”. When I called again that night, I was told by the sales guy to come in right now, that everything was all set. And guess what?!?! IT WASN’T! Not only did I wait forever, but I was told, oh, tomorrow….once again. I said no, I’ll just go to the other place. Then the financing manager told me the rate…the SAME EXACT RATE they had proposed a week earlier that I had declined!!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! So overall moral of the story? They never came down on their price, they never worked for me, they never talked about it or worked on anything. It was a giant waste of time, a huge lie, and a serious lack of communication between employees. More
After test driving a FJ Cruiser, I knew that a Jeep was in my future so I sent an e-mail out to several different Jeep dealerships (Harr, Dan's, Herb Chambers and COLONIAL) in my area. I went back and for in my future so I sent an e-mail out to several different Jeep dealerships (Harr, Dan's, Herb Chambers and COLONIAL) in my area. I went back and forth between two dealers and finally got a can't be beat, bottom line, once in a lifetime price on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Several hours later, I talked with Chris Farias at Colonial Dodge/Jeep in Hudson. Guess what, he beat that previous price by more than $1,500.00! In the entire time that I dealt with Chris Farias and the other employees at COLONIAL OF HUDSON, not once was I pressured or BS'd in any way, shape or form. I've been buying cars since 1991 and COLONIAL OF HUDSON is the only dealership where I didn't get skeeved out while working with the salespeople. If you want a Jeep, and you know you do, talk to Chris Farias at COLONIAL OF HUDSON and not only will you get an unbeatable price, your outlook on buying vehicles could very well change for the better. I found Colonial Jeep to be one of the best places to purchase a vehicle. I shopped three dealers and the best price wins. Colonial Jeep gave me a no nonsense pricing (online) with no games. My experience only got better when I went to the dealer to purchase the Jeep. They honored the price and they had the vehicle they quoted. The service was great, other employees congratulated me on my purchase. I have been going to this dealership for about five years now, never knew I could rate it, however my experience has been wonderful, from the sales department to the service department. Very pleasant helpful now, never knew I could rate it, however my experience has been wonderful, from the sales department to the service department. Very pleasant helpful and HONEST people in that dealership. I have personally bought three vehicles from them as well as most of my family members we will not go anyplace else. One stop service is how I explain it. The service personnel are great, we go in for our routine oil changes and they always do a free inspection to our vehicles tell us what is going on and what may be needed in the future. It may not seem like an issue now but we need to watch this leak to see if it gets any worse. I know when I leave that dealership my vehicle is safe for my family. I have never been sold anything I didn't need. The prices are great, after my entire vehicle is being worked on by certified technicians. That is what I like a piece of mind knowing everything is good. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Very trustworthy and honest people. I love being on theri VIP list they email me when my vehicle is due for service and send coupons to boot.. More

I went into the dealer just planning to look at chargers since I felt that I wouldn't be able to get a loan at 18. Shane told me he'd be able to get me a loan and the exact car I wanted. Not only were they since I felt that I wouldn't be able to get a loan at 18. Shane told me he'd be able to get me a loan and the exact car I wanted. Not only were they able to do this for me they also bought the car my parents needed to sell for the price they wanted. They made my buying experience easy and quick. I plan on buying another car from them soon. More
Every time I go in for an oil change, and the only reason I have been going is because I bought a Chrysler coupon book from a dealer who is now out of buiness for 28 oil changes, they find all sorts of bogus I have been going is because I bought a Chrysler coupon book from a dealer who is now out of buiness for 28 oil changes, they find all sorts of bogus extra work. My regular mechanic never agrees with their diagnosis, and he has an incentive to agree because he'd get to do the work. I just don't trust them. The people are really nice, but they're trying too hard to keep their service bays busy. More
Well...here it is in a nutshell. I really have to wonder if this really is a case of fraud...flat out fraud. NOTHING was seemingly performed as promised - No repairs were successfully completed. I like to if this really is a case of fraud...flat out fraud. NOTHING was seemingly performed as promised - No repairs were successfully completed. I like to think people are honest, but I don't know what to think of this. You can determine what you wish about the following... I ended up taking the Jeep to another dealer to get the service performed. Colonial Dealer Claim: Front & rear diff fluids, tranny & transfer case are black and need to be changed. Wanted to chaged $400+ for the service. CHECK: No evidence of wrench marks on fill bolts. Changed front & rear diff myself - fluid far from black. It was dirty, but nothing like I was led to believe on the phone. ISSUE: No wrench marks on fluid covers/fill bolts. Dirt/grim/rust still intact around bolts. So what did they actually check? (Engine oil was freshly changed by someone else too). Cust Request: Jeep has a vibration. Check alignment & balance tires. Colonial Dealer Claim: Jeep was way out of alignement. Check: Probably was. ISSUE: Still had vibration. Took to another dealer, (b/c George NEVER called about parts.) Other dealer performed alignment and said the jeep was out of alignment. Clearly they did not do an alignment if it had to be realigned after driving it home and then to another dealer. Cust Request: ESP/BAS, Traction control lights are on, Window switch light is out. Colonial Dealer Claim: Parts are necessary to complete repair...Parts would be in on Tuesday. FACT: Dealer did not order parts until Thursday (almost a WEEK after the jeep went in for service) per Service Manger Terry/Tammy. Cust Request: Door does not shut properly. Colonial Dealer Claim: Door alignment was repaired. FACT: No change in door performance. ISSUE: Door still not aligned. Cust Request: Look for squeak... Colinial Dealer Claim: Squeek caused by TSB Rattle FACT: Bolts were missing from the hardtop. ISSUE: Dealer claimed to repair - sqeek still present. No change to complaint. Other dealer found missing bolts were missing & replaced them. Problem solved. During the service, he never called as promied. I always had to call. I got a call from a survey person before the service was even completed!! So I called to request my money back...the Service Manager's reponse: well maybe not all of it. I say unacceptable - I want it all back. I was lied to, parts were not ordered, and services were not performed (is that fraud??? I don't know). HERE IS WHAT I KNOW, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALER OR RECCOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. Service Manager was going to speak to her boss about getting 'some' of my money back. I said it was unacceptable...I wanted all of my money back...so we will see what happens. If they refund my money, I will post an update. (if possible). More
