This was the 4th vehicle purchased at this dealer. This was the 4th time I've dealt with Jay and Eddie. This was the most amazing time I have ever encountered while purchasing any vehicle EVER. Jay worked so hard at making sure I got the best rate with the best bank. He was relentless at making sure I was happy with every step of purchasing my brand new truck. Jay made it simple to understand, while keeping me comforted throughout the process. Eddie...my man Eddie. He isnt just another pretty face, the kid knows his vehicles. Throughout the process this man showcased his knowledge on the details, ins and outs and price on each vehicle - until I was happy. There isnt enough I can say about this dealer. Purchasing through Colonial (with jay and eddie) has made me a better person. I suggest anyyone who is interested in purchasing new or used....go see these guys! My experience in purchasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee with Colonial was exceptional, and I feel qualified in applying this term based on 15 years in professional sales, matched to my recent past year in with Colonial was exceptional, and I feel qualified in applying this term based on 15 years in professional sales, matched to my recent past year in car purchase failures. A year ago I traded my old SUV (another brand) for a new one, and had non-stop issues that finally lead me to unload it. I was referred to Colonial after my purchase of a second brand SUV in October left me wanting. The GM Michael Barros was accomodating to both my schedule and my concerns over recent visits to other dealers. I was introduced to Chris as my rep. I think its important at this point to describe the size of this dealer. Its small. Noticeably. And quiet. Not everyone may appreciate this but I did. At least compared to the mile-long stretch of mega-million showrooms where I was ignored, oversold and pressured, or all the above. I welcomed this size shop which still boasts a good amount of inventory outside, and naturally I knew they could order my car if it was not in inventory. That said - Chris knows his product lines to a fault, but did not make the mistake of showing every bell and whistle without consideration for what I cared about(I have demo'd to death and hated it). He made it available to me to test in several configurations (6 and 8 cyl, etc) and never once applied a hard close or pressure tactic (apologies to the sales manager for that comment). In the sensitive area of negotiations, I closed the deal with Chris as I appreciated his knowledge of product - I had several particluars I wanted in the model, and the "pricing" talk was very simple and respectful. He guided me through the ordering process professionally, assisted me with delivery dates, and never once gave me reason to walk away as I have with other dealers during my recent search. His follow up was spot-on, the car delivered just in time for a 20-hour drive to return a child to college. On my return, the follow up has continued to make certain I got my sticker, and pointers on some of the car features I was uncertain about. I can highly recommend this dealer to be contacted if in the hunt for a Jeep (or Dodge - had to get that plug in for them). During my visits I observed - ok, I listened in to other sales conversations taking place. Consistently, Mike's team is made up of folks first interested in understanding what I was looking for without prying for "pain" points that sales 101 teaches new reps to dig for (that can be a deal killer for me), and providing the product in a timely and professional manner. Now, this post is written one week after taking delivery, so I intend to update this post in six months in regards to post-sales service and support. I consider the after-sale more important than the buying process. I cannot comment on the service department yet, but I expect that they follow the same pace and model as the sales department. I should have good things to report in six months if I'm right - despite being told time and agin how wrong I am by my teenagers. More

I was in the market for Limited Edition Jeep that I was unable to find in my home state of CT. After an internet search I found the team in Hudson. Dave was very quick to get back to me and stayed late on unable to find in my home state of CT. After an internet search I found the team in Hudson.
