On September 14,2022 I called Dodge Jeep in Collierville, TN and asked them what’s the latest model vehicle they will service. A lady answered in the service department, and she said no later than 2008. I dr TN and asked them what’s the latest model vehicle they will service. A lady answered in the service department, and she said no later than 2008. I drove my car to the service department and informed Chad Johnson that I needed a timing change. I also asked him if the tensioners and gaskets were included in the service. He said no but they will check them to see if they are bad and let me know. Chad stated the timing change would be $1990 plus taxes. Then he asked if there was anything else, I needed them to check. I simply stated NO. On September 21st at 3:33pm, Chad texted me stating I needed both fuel pumps $1399.95 and a timing chain $2650.00. First, I was confused because I told him I didn’t want him to service nothing but the timing chain. Secondly, both of those fuel pumps on my car were brand new. I just had the service done. On top of that lets remember, I drove the car to the lot and into the service garage, so the fuel pumps were working. Also, I noticed the price of the timing chain increased by $650. So, I immediately called him and told him both of those pumps were new. I added my father to the call to verify. Chad then stated, ok I’ll check and let you know. Now this should have been a red flag for me. Why would you text me quoting charges for services if you never checked or had proof that was the problem? Later, I received a text that stated the timing chain and some tensioners total and a pigtail replacement for the fuel pump that he shouldn’t have touched… but I just wanted my car serviced and returned so I told him to do the work. He stated he would call me back later. I didn’t hear from him that day nor the next. My boyfriend called and spoke with Bennett and he stated the car was finished a day or so ago. We went to pick my car up. I got home parked in the garage and the next day I noticed oil in the garage. I assume it was just a spill that the dealership didn’t clean up and it was just falling off the frame. The next day or so we cleaned off the motor and places where the oil was residing. So, we could check later to see if the parts were leaking or if it was just oil sitting from the work. Sunday, Nov. 13th, I went to Firestone to get new tires. The master mechanic Freddie called me back to show me where my car had an oil leak. Once he told me it was the timing chain cover and the valve control cover, I pulled out my receipt from Dodge and showed him the work I just paid $3400. He looked at the excess sealant all over the parts and asked me,” you said Dodge did this?” I stated yes. He said this is very unprofessional work, I’ve done several of these and my work has never looked like this. He also advised me to take it back to them because I should have a warranty. There’s no need to charge you to fix something, you’ve already paid for and have a warranty. He also allowed me to take pictures and videos of the poor job and leaks to show Dodge. If you’re ever in Southaven, MS and need oil change, tires or auto care, etc. Please go with Firestone to the Town Loop and ask for Deandre & Freddie. I’d recommend those guys to anyone. Monday morning, I called Dodge and asked Darry or Doug the owners. The guy Bennett stated they weren’t in. I explained what’s was going on and he said to bring it in and speak with Chad Johnson. It should be a warranty. I advised him I would bring it in tomorrow. First thing Nov. 15 around 7am, I drove my car to Collierville Chrysler Jeep and spoke with Chad. I explained to Chad what was going on and that I had paperwork and pictures showing the car was leaking oil from where I paid them to do work. Chad was very dismissive. I also told him I have pictures of the work and I am very unsatisfied with the very unprofessional work. If I wanted shade tree mechanic work, I would’ve gone to a shade tree and paid shade tree prices. Chad stated we are very professional; we are the best in the city. I then explained to Chad, how sealant was oozing out of the cover, screws and gaskets. He stated its supposed to look like that, the more sealant the better the seal. I then asked if it couldn’t be cleaned up afterwards? Chad stated he would have his mechanic look for the leak and let me know. We left, around 3:02pm, Chad text me stating it was the oil cooler leaking and running down the backside and tracing around the pan to make it look like its leaking. Oil cooler $1099.95 plus tax. I called Chad to inform him that the oil cooler has already been replaced with a Mopar part. Secondly, Firestone performed an oil leak detection w/dye on Nov. 13th and documented timing chain cover, leaking oil. Valve covers need replacing, leaking. I explained to Chad the oil cooler was partially new from Mopar and that I have paperwork cleanup to a year or more where I received oil changes and inspections, and I didn’t have any leaks nor problems with the oil cooler. Chad said if you’re implying, we did something to your car, I can promise your wrong. So, the next morning, Nov. 16th 7am. We went to pick my car up; I didn’t want Chad or any of his janky mechanics touching anything else on my car. We get there Chad says, oh I didn’t know you were picking it up this early. I have to see if my guy has it put back together. I instantly questioned, put back together? I didn’t tell you I wanted you to do the service. He rudely stated for me to diagnose the leak, I had to take it apart. I then explained to him my car wasn’t leaking before I pulled in the lot. He stated I’m not trying to take money from you. I then informed him how several times he tried to con me out of money. I told you to do a timing chain on my car along with the tensioners. You asked did I wanted you to do anything else? I told you No. You text me, telling me I needed 2 new fuel pumps and a timing chain. Once I told you the fuel pumps were new, you stated you would call me back. You then called back stating the timing chain was $650 more than you initially quoted and $600 to replace a pigtail with the fuel pumps that you had no business messing with. Then when I check my receipt, the pigtail isn’t on the receipt nor are the gaskets that you claim was the reason for the timing chain price increase. Then on top of that you charged me for an inspection, when I told you what I needed you to do to my car, I didn’t need nor requested an inspection. Chad then stated, I didn’t charge you for an inspection. So, I pulled up the receipt and showed him where it states inspection by tech Randall Smith 2 hrs. for $320. Chad then stated I didn’t charge you for that. I said Chad it’s on the receipt and I calculated it, its included in the total. Chad stepped back, looking puzzled and said idk why ya’ll are coming at me, I’m trying to help you. I said no, you are not. My car didn’t have any leaks prior now I have an oil leak. I have documentation that its coming from your work and now you’re telling me it’s something else. Seeing as you’ve lied several times, you are not a credible source. I was out of a vehicle when I came to get the initial service, but it was okay because I requested that service but now I’m still out of a vehicle after paying for a service and having to bring it back. Chad then said bring me the receipt from the oil cooler and I can do a warranty. We could not locate the receipt so I told Chad, I would like to take my car home. Chad then stated its not ready. We asked him how long it would take to “allegedly” put my car back together? He said an hour. We both had to be at work , so we told Chad we would pick it up tomorrow. Chad texted me at 10:10am, which was longer than an hour, that my vehicle was ready to pick it up. I texted him back to let him know I was at work, and I would have to pick it up tomorrow at 7am. Chad didn’t respond. Nov. 17th at 7:30am I went back to Collierville Chrysler Jeep to pick up my vehicle. Chad handed us the keys with no paperwork attached. It was 40 degrees; so I started the car up and let it sit about 15mins to defrost. I noticed a big wet spot under my car, but it had soaked into the concrete, so I said maybe it wasn’t from my vehicle. I didn’t think about the fact my car had sat in the same spot since yesterday 10am. We took a photo just in case. Drove my car 16mins, 10 mins from the lot to my garage. I went in the house for 10 mins came out to the garage and not only was oil leaking but now antifreeze was leaking from my car. By noon, I checked, and the antifreeze was running out of the garage. I checked my antifreeze level and it was almost empty. So, not only do I have an oil leak, now I have an antifreeze leak. Neither which I had prior to going to Collierville Chrysler Jeep & Dodge. I took pictures and videos. My father called Chad and informed him that now not only was the car leaking oil but now its leaking antifreeze. Chad stated it wasn’t leaking when she left which was a lie because I have pictures of the spot under my car when I picked it up. So, after all this lovely “professional” dealership service, close to $3500 up in the air, I now have my car stuck in the garage. Simply, because I’m afraid to drive it. Chad was so keen on being so right and not owning up to his mistakes, he put me and my family at risk with this vehicle because they didn’t want to repair a service that has a warranty. This may not help me, but PLEASE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY, TIME, HEADACHE, FRUSTRATION AND MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR CAR….. DO NOT GO TO Collierville Chrysler Jeep & Dodge AND DEFINITELY DON’T DEAL WITH CHAD JOHNSON More
Towed 2013 Grand Cherokee to dealership due to alternator failure. There were several open recalls for various mechanical issues one related to alternator wiring harness that supposedly was the diagnosed cou failure. There were several open recalls for various mechanical issues one related to alternator wiring harness that supposedly was the diagnosed countermeasure. Jeep was at dealership for 42 days waiting on parts and service and of course the PCM had to be replaced for $1300 which may or may not have been the issue. Meanwhile driving rental for $3200 so basically spent $4500 plus tow fee. Called everyday for updates instead of service calling me. So as soon as market returns to “normal” I will be replacing with new vehicle and Jeep won’t be on my list. More

Very bad experience. I took my vehicle in for a recal on ignition switch. They did the work but now the ignition switch gets stock in various spots while turning on or of I took my vehicle in for a recal on ignition switch. They did the work but now the ignition switch gets stock in various spots while turning on or off. I took it back and they said they fixed it. They had done nothing and just say they changed the switch. This is a brief explanation of what went on. They said a bunch of lies along the way. Don’t trust what they tell you. They just “say” all the right words but what they do or deliver is something different. I will never take my vehicle there again. No wonder they get 2 stars on yelp. More
