Hassle-free buying experience I was in the market for a new truck, did extensive research online, and was tossed up between a GMC, Chevy or Dodge. I narrowed my selection down to I was in the market for a new truck, did extensive research online, and was tossed up between a GMC, Chevy or Dodge. I narrowed my selection down to two GMC trucks at Colandrea GMC, along with a few other trucks at other dealerships. I had previously begun shopping for a new truck at other locations and was off to a bad start, writing a letter of complaint to GMC Corporate HQ about another local dealership which was pushy and manipulative. Colandrea GMC turned that around for me and made shopping for a new truck stress free. After giving me a little time to look around alone first, I was greeted on the lot by Rob Dombrowsky, my sales rep. I was looking for two specific trucks and was picky about the options and color I was looking for. Rob knew their products inside and out and guided me toward another truck, which he located at another dealer. The truck had all of the options I was looking for and for the same price as the trucks I was looking at on Colandrea's lot, so there was no "upselling" involved. Rob took me for a test drive in another truck I was considering purchasing, and he knew every feature inside of the truck thoroughly. Rob's professionalism, knowledge of their products, and hassle-free personality greatly contributed to me buying a truck from Colandrea GMC. If he had been pushy or forceful, I would have walked and went elsewhere. After previous bad experiences, it was nice to come here and work with someone who gave me a little space. He offered suggestions for options that I did and did not want, explained which features come with each trim level, and knew which add-ons were offered for each individual vehicle. I also worked with Doug, a sales manager, who was also very professional and diplomatic while I was negotiating options and a trade-in price. Rob and Doug were both polite and courteous, but did not pressure me. After purchasing a new truck, the professionalism continued, and Rob and Doug both took the time to work with me and explain everything in detail. They both kept in phone contact with me while the transaction was being processed, keeping me informed during each step of the process. When the vehicle came, they made an appointment for me to pick it up, and the truck was delivered without hassle. Rob spent well over a half hour sitting in the truck with me, explaining and demonstrating how to work every function in the truck (which he also did on the test drive). He also followed up with a phone call after the purchase to make sure everything was good with the vehicle and to see if I had any questions, and repeatedly told me to stop by if I had any questions on how to use any of the technology. The professionalism and customer appreciation from this experience was top notch. More
