Extremely unprofessional, awful experience! Extremely dissatisfied with this car dealership. I was in this dealership working with Daniel Peel in purchasing a new car earlier this week. I sat in the dealer for a few hours Monday trying to figure out payments, what I could get for my trade-in, etc. I am moving out of the state Monday, so he knew I needed to get all of this done before leaving. Finally, upon agreeing on a deal, Daniel tells me to go home with the car I am trading in and he will call me later in the week to come sign paperwork and give them my trade in. The car I wanted was coming from Orlando so the dealer wouldn't receive it until March 28. It is now the 30th and I have yet to hear back from Daniel, I called the dealership only for him to tell me they sold the car we had agreed on me purchasing. I am beyond frustrated with this whole situation. I feel that Daniel Peel was very unprofessional regarding this entire situation; he never even called me back to let me know he had sold the car to someone else. He has "surf instructor" cards on his desk, looks like he is more interested in providing surf lessons than selling cars. I feel as though Daniel knew I would be desperate to sell my car, seeing that I am moving all the way across the country next week, so he pulled this whole scheme to get me to settle and buy a different car that they have on their lot, one that I don't really want. Upon informing me that my car was sold, he offered my different colors, etc. Seeing that I have already given my debit card information to leave a deposit on the car I chose, this should not have happened, nor been a discussion. My husband and I explained immediately that we were not purchasing a Honda in Florida as we reside in New York. Gage spent quality time with us explaining the details of the 2018 Honda Accord Touring model and patiently answering all of out questions related to the new Honda and accessories. He allowed me to drive the car around the lot while he explained further features of this great new model Accord. Even though he realized he would not make a sale with us, he was informative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the products he sells. He is the perfect type of sale person I enjoy dealing with. Great Experience e are very happy with the experience on purchasing our 2015 CRV EXL with Honda of St. Augustine.  It was a stress-free experience, which is a first fo e are very happy with the experience on purchasing our 2015 CRV EXL with Honda of St. Augustine.  It was a stress-free experience, which is a first for me.   First I was interested in a HRV and they let me take it home to make sure it was for me.  I returned it and decided I would like a larger car.  Ayn, our sales person, found the CRV EXL out of town and had it delivered to us.  We settled on a price that was discussed.  Nothing was changed and it went smoothly.  I even had a slight problem after the vehicle was home for a week and they stepped up to the plate with no argument and fixed the problem.  Thank you Ayn Bishop and the others involved in our experience.  More

First, let me say we are active duty military stationed overseas and were looking to buy a car while home stateside on leave. Gage was only one of two associates willing to put a quote in an email of a new Honda Civic we wanted to buy. Our communications transpired over a month and we notified him we were coming into town and looking to get a deal done. He contacted us with an offer at about 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon and we followed up on it and left the dealership with a new car. Everything was as he said it would be, no gimmicks or extra fees, and we were able to take advantage of the Military Appreciation Offer given by corporate Honda, as well as the special financing. I would highly recommend Gage to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle! More

We left feeling really good! After having an unpleasant experience in Gainesville we caste about for another Honda dealership in North Florida to visit. All the inland Florida stores seemed to be owned by the same company as the one in Gainesville so we made sure that Coggin had no connection with those people and chose the dealership in St. Augustine as that is where we have friends and family to visit. James Paul introduced us to the CRV of our choice and we could not have asked for a better sales person. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about all the many features of the car, but more importantly to us, he immediately struck us as a straightforward guy with nothing up his sleeve. We left having the feeling that we not only had bought a car, but had made a friend. Augustine, the finance manager, was also a terrific guy and entertained us with hilarious stories about his wonderful family. And I should add, found us low interest rates which with the very reasonable sticker price, made us feel that we had gotten a good deal on the car. More
