Dealer takes advantage of customers I purchased a used car from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. Only 36K miles on it. And after just five weeks of owning it, I need a new oil pump which I purchased a used car from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. Only 36K miles on it. And after just five weeks of owning it, I need a new oil pump which costs over $2000. The shop that I trust to look at it said that someone had put "motor honey" in the oil to get a false reading of oil pressure, then dumped it on me. Coggin Honda supposedly did a 100pt inspection, which I think is just not true. They did not change the oil either, which would have uncovered the issue. I think they were just looking to dump it on the first person they could find and let their customer deal with the issue. The worse part is that I've called, emailed, texted and left voice message for the salesmand and the general manager, and no one will even acknolodge me. I've not even been able to get a person on the phone to explain what happened. I think they're just waiting me out with the hope that I'll go away. Now I'm out $2000. Horrible dealer with low integrity. Buyer be ware! More
