Upon receiving an on-line quote for a Honda Odyssey we made an appt. at the dealership because the on-line price was very reasonable. Unfortunately when we arrived at the dealership this was not the true made an appt. at the dealership because the on-line price was very reasonable. Unfortunately when we arrived at the dealership this was not the true price with all of the added dealer fees and add-ons for the vehicle. Michael was very professional, the finance person was rude and not interested in making a sale. He would not even let us leave with a printout of the quote to review and decide if we liked what he was offering - he didn't want anything leaving the dealership in writing. We left and went to Headquarter Honda in Clermont, dealt with friendly professional staff from start to finish and they gave us a price $2,000 better than quoted at Coggin Honda for a Honda Odyssey EX-L plus waived the dealer fee and gave us $1500 more than Coggin was offering for our trade-in! After the deal was made and we got into our new car the sales person said he would follow up today to see how everything was going on our first day! That's a great example of service! More
The whole experience was good, sales staff was knowledge able, Inventory was there to select the one we wanted. The process took longer than I expected. My experience was not the nicest. I can not believe that a customer that is ready to buy (cash) is treated like the way I was. I was completely ignored from your dealer from the bottom to all the way to th a customer that is ready to buy (cash) is treated like the way I was. I was completely ignored from your dealer from the bottom to all the way to the top. I guess this dealer is doing well enough that can turn down any business they want. The process: 1. Sent email with my offer. 2. Received a call back and email. (Good) 3. Talked to Internet sales manager and promised to call me back. (Saturday) 3. Never heard from him or anybody. (Bad) 4. I called back on Monday and talked to the store sales manager. The store sales manager had no idea about what I was talking about and he sounded bother by my call. He said that he would not call me back but he would have some of his employees call me back. Later, may be 6 hour later I was called but I missed the call and later called back but they missed my call too. (Bad) 5. I gave up on even trying to call or to negotiate to buy a car from this dealer. (Bad) 6. Days later I received an email from customer service and later a call to see if my needs were met or satisfied by the dealer. I told the lady on the phone that I was not happy with the service but I had moved on. (Good) 7. The lady on the phone said that she was going to talked to the dealer and call me back. (Good) 8. I never heard from her either. (Terrible) All I wanted was someone to be honest with me and simply say to me "I am sorry but we can not meet your offer, that is not enough and we can not give you that car for that amount. We do have other cars within that range...." Like many other dealers have done. I was amazed by the lack of interest on a customer that is ready to buy. I din not want to spend time driving around looking for cars when I can do that online and once I find a car then make an offer. More
WOW! That's all I can say... Nelson and the Sales Management Team not only provided me with the exact vehicle I've searched all over the state of FL for(2012 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 6 Speed) but they al Management Team not only provided me with the exact vehicle I've searched all over the state of FL for(2012 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 6 Speed) but they also arranged delivery to me 100 miles away in Brandon, FL! I thought I built up a loyalty with a dealer in Lakeland after purchasing 3 cars and referring my boss since 2008 but they didn't even come close. Nelson was quick with his email responses, upfront about every detail and made the process as easy as can be. My only regret is that I didn't get the shake hands with Nelson and the Manager who put this deal together for me. Even after admitting defeat by telling them I realized I may have been asking for too much, they made it happen. To anyone reading this, save yourself time like I wish I had done and just go with Nelson and Coggins from the start-you will get the best deal by far and can start to enjoy your new ride a lot sooner! So I traveled an hour to the dealership & Alvin was there waiting for us. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable & above all patient with all my questions. He made me feel comfortable with my choice of cars & decision to by Honda. No high pressure selling. No substitutions or bait & switch.
