Lied to Honda finance because I shopped at another dealer I was approved for a lease at this dealership to get my daughter a car. I also got approved for a lease from another Honda dealership as I liked the s I was approved for a lease at this dealership to get my daughter a car. I also got approved for a lease from another Honda dealership as I liked the sales person and finance people much better there. They also had the car I wanted for my daughter so I leased it and she drove it home very happy. Two days later, they called and said Honda Financing changed their mind and wouldn't approve my lease?!? I asked why and was told because someone from Coggin called Honda financing and lied to them about my lease agreement terms with them?!? They were just upset because they found out I leased from another Honda dealer in the area. Now I must try to finance the car, costing me another $6000 extra overall for the same car. All of this because somebody at Coggin was upset they didn't get the lease. This is very sad and disturbing that Honda allows this to happen and that a salesman (Rickey Finnerty) would actually Lie to his own company because he is upset with himself. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Coggin Honda as you can NOT TRUST them!! More

Honda is an Extreme Business Disappointment- I just wanted to share this with everyone who plans to do business with Coggin Honda on OBT. My father just leased a vehicle with them this week and I I just wanted to share this with everyone who plans to do business with Coggin Honda on OBT. My father just leased a vehicle with them this week and I have never been so shocked and angered with this dealer’s lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and cynical way of handling what should be professional business deals as (lets face it), we are shopping and investing in vehicles and not shopping for souvenirs or tee shirts where you might consider things to be “No Big Deal” if something were not handled correctly. After agreeing on a price or a “deal” as General Sales Manager, JR Beliveau did and shook hands with my father on, the next day when picking up the car and when we headed into the finance department to make final arrangements and paperwork, it turns out that there were last minute add-ons and extra costs that we had clearly asked and discussed with Mr. Beliveau, would not be added as this was part of the negotiation while shopping and agreeing on the car as we all do during the buying process. We all know that there are usually always “pleasant surprises” or “add ons” when finalizing the last bit of paperwork on your vehicle purchase, and the problem is my father had clearly let Mr. Beliveau know how much the budget was, and how much he would be wiling to have as a car payment. My father asked twice to confirm the final price and payment after everything was said and done and unfortunately this was not so. We were in no rush in leasing and have other options in dealers. However, because we were mislead and made to believe that in order to keep our business the agreed deal was something we could make happen, we chose to stay with Honda and move forward with the leasing process. Long story short, this wasn’t the case and I don’t appreciate being mislead, deceived or made to look like a fool when we are sitting there negotiating and promised something, when in reality all we were made to feel is that as long as we were providing a sale to Coggin Honda, they promise the world and fail to deliver on the excuse of “There must have been some miscommunication” and a final “Sorry we can’t do that” (At this point in time let me just add that I had not only lost three hours of my time but all insurance arrangements and switches from our previous vehicle to the current one had been changed). Like I said, great sweet-talking and promises while getting you to buy/lease a car and then when they have your business, they do not care about you anymore. They couldn’t care less! Nobody appreciates being made to feel this way and this has not been the only time this dealer has made us feel like this. The only positive experience we had was with our actual salesman Norberto Flores who had no fault and did the best he could to help us given the situation we were dealing with. We argued the “miscommunication” with Mr. Jeffrey Berlan who was there the day we picked up the car and who gave us the ridiculous excuse of how there must have been a misunderstanding. He said there are policies and processes that change all of the time and sometimes-correct information or miscommunication can happen because there are so many details. Of course there are details!!! Again, we are buying cars not tee shirts. He continued to mention that sometimes staff is not updated on all of the details and disclaimers, as he then points to a co-worker to confirm what More
Understanding Salespeople, Great Management I have purchased my last 4 cars from Classic Honda. Since their sales and service has been steadily going downhill, I thought I would try a new deale I have purchased my last 4 cars from Classic Honda. Since their sales and service has been steadily going downhill, I thought I would try a new dealership. One of the social groups I belong to recommended Coggin and away we went. Giovanni Aponte was especially helpful for discussing used vehicles and very gracious when we decided to buy a new vehicle. Marcial Mercado understood our needs and made sure to meet them. The transaction only took 3 hours from start to finish which is 1/2 the time my last purchase took at Classic. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used Honda!!! More

They heard my concern of driving in this heat and storms with my 85 year old mother. We had driven up to Orlando to meet up with her great grandchild to celebrate his 4th birthday - the a/c broke on the drive up. Needless to say the drive back home to Miami was a pleasant one thanks to Jack, Haniff and Nino. They are true assets to the Coggin Team. More

When we entered the dealership, we were greeted by Elizabeth Rue who immediately started to listen to our concerns and wishes. Elizabeth listened and worked with management to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. We walked out that evening with a new 2015 Honda Accord. Today, I had to go back to the dealership to bring in some documents that they needed a copy of. I met Elizabeth again to say thank you. After talking together I ended up trading in my Kia Optima and drove home a new 2015 Civic Si. Again, no pressure tactics, just plain old excellent customer service from someone who listens to your concerns. We definitely will come back as this was the most pleasant car buying experience we have had. More
